What is a Social Networking???
A social network service is an online service, platform, or site that focuses on building and reflecting of social networks or social relations among people, e.g., who share interests and/or activities.  A social network service essentially consists of a representation of each user (often a profile), his/her social links, and a variety of additional services.

 Users can often upload pictures of themselves to their profiles. add them to their list of contacts. social networks usually have controls that allow users to choose who can view their profile. search for other users with similar interests.  To protect user privacy. and compile and share lists of contacts. contact them. and  .  In addition. user profiles often have a section dedicated to comments from friends and other users. post blog entries for others to read.Typical structure Individual users are encouraged to create profiles containing various information about themselves.
