Select the specific RNCs that are worked on as shown

All the selected RNCs are loaded into wips for reference. FDDcell, UMTS neighborcells, GSM neighbors, UMTS remoteFDDs, RNC etc tables Can be exported into the computer in .html formats from here.

Create the input with all required columns defined in an excel spreadsheet

Select all the data in the sheet to be executed and copy it to the clipboard

Before creating the work order, make sure to import the snapshot ,into wips ,of all the RNCs involved Select the specific location for which the work order is to be created This Case is for UMTS NL, so umts neighboringcell is selected. Locking and unlocking the site/FDD cell

Open resource browser in wms and go to the specific node B that is to be locked or unlocked. Talk about selecting fdd cell after adding another snapshot

Right click on the nobe B and select configuration. Go to set administrative state option for the set administrative state action window to be opened. Select the displayed node B or the FDD cell which needs to be locked/or unlocked and click on the respective button at the bottom

Equipment monitor ( RNC) : Right click on the nobe B or the RNC icon in the Resource browser and select Equipment Monitor RNCs Equipment montor window can be seen below. It gives details like the current RNC software version, Cluster ID, iub attach port number, RNC ID, complete general as well as dynamic data

Equipment monitor ( NodeB) :

Right click on the nodeB instead of the RNC in the resource browser for displaying the one BTS Equipment for that specific NodeB. Click on the node B to check its corresponding FDD cells General details for the nodeB are displayed like the frame size, controlling radio information, Latitude and longitude, power utilization, number of sectors, expected and detected Tx amplifier model number, slot number, inventory type , NodeB ip address and subnet mask etc

Object editor: Right click on RNC/ Node B in the resource browser and select Object Editor for the window Select the specific FDD cell which is to be edited Look for the attributes that are displayed and select for editing We can display those attributes that were recently changed or simply display everything Attributes like cellId, OCNSload status, can be changed or reset in the details tab as shown At all times, we need to be alert as any change made to it would affect the live node B that is currently on air and is taking traffic

Radios
Select FDD cell and click on radio/ 1 Each FDD cell has a radio number , which starts with 1 usually and are assigned in ascending order as we add sectors / carriers on the node B Check the radio details displayed in the bottom of the screen as we click on the specific radio

Radios
Right click on each of the radio to diagnose if there are any issues or check the complete configuration in the object editor or lock and unlock the FDD cell corresponding to that radio or even to RESET the radio

Open PuTTY connection manager Select the RNC to which your site belongs Log in using the username and password See screenshot to know how the output looks like

Give the command : /home/Support/monitor/pmv/pmv6 The list of RNCs under the connected group are displayed. You will be prompted to enter the line number or the RNC Enter the number of your RNC in the list displayed above Information about the version of the RNC and the location from where the RNC is being read is displayed Enter the command ds 6 This will start reading the RNC and will show us the intervals in which it is reading the values

Enter the final command that will extract the KPIs from the selected node B
tr nodeb SITENAME kpi 11c 13c 14c 16c 33c 35c This will display the KPI values of the site that we requested for ( in this example site name was MOU1056)
