It was set up by Professor Chibli Mallat, a human rights lawyer and advocates nonviolence, constitutional reform and judicial accountability.
I was given the freedom to work on a project that tied in with both the organisation's and my personal interests. I chose without hesitation to work on Tunisia and the current process of constitutional reform taking place. I had decided to write my Master thesis on Tunisia and the Constitutional transition and I realised that there was a need for publicly available information on the transition process, the issues and challenges as well as step by step developments. Thus, with the help of the my colleagues in the Constitutional team at Right to Nonviolence, I set up the Tunisia Constitutional e-Forum. The program has been uploaded here. It has been interesting and exciting setting up the Tunisia e-Forum and I have been encouraged by the open, intellectual generosity of the contributors. I hope the e-Forum will be useful to others.view less
