Not my favorite Coben. Too maudlin in the beginning, and a little to convenient an ending.
10th in the Maggie O'Dell series. A quick read. I knew who "who done it" very early on, and I found it to be a bit too gory/graphic for my taste
Interesting theory on animals threatening human existence.
The Lost Wife
Excellent love story. Set in Prague during the holocaust it is a story of romantic love as well as love for ones family. Much less depressing than other things I've read with the same background.
The Inn at Rose Harbor
First in a new series by Macomber. A few friends from Cedar Cove make an appearance.
In the Shadow of the Wonder Wheel
I really thought the premise of this book was really interesting. However, there were too many characters, and none of them were developed enough that I cared about them. I also felt there were too many twists in too short a book.
Starting Now: A Blossom Street Novel
With a new Debbie Macomber book you know just what you are getting; a cosy story, visit with old friends, and interesting new characters. This book meets all those criteria.
Calling Me Home
Touching story of an elderly white woman who asks her black hairdresser to drive her from Texas to Ohio to attend a funeral. As the miles pass we learn the past and present lives of each woman.
7: An Experimental Mutiny Against Excess
Much to think about in this book. Can't imagine some of the stages, but some of them are percolating in my head
The Liar’s Lullaby
An unusual cast of characters...from a country western star to the President. A very convoluted mystery..suicide ot terrorism?
