This book was ok. It was predictable and seemed to me to never quite get to where it wanted to be in either the wanna-be steamy sex scenes or the wanna-be mystery. I thought the writing was fine, it just needed some oomph for the story to be more engaging.
I don't know if I missed something, but I honestly didn't get why this book is referred to so often in books you must read. I found it boring and not as in depth as I would have liked. I didn't get much out of it.
I absolutely loved this book. It follows in the footsteps of the first two of the series, The Bronze Horseman and Tatiana and Alexander. I loved seeing where Tatiana and Alexander were and what was going on with them. I love the authors style of writing and couldn't put it down!
I really enjoyed this book. I found it very helpful as a woman who has had trouble controlling her weight and finding a balance including this struggle into my faith. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone with weigh/body issues and who wants a Christian perspective.
