Still loving the serie. I was happy to discover new personnage, even if it made me miss sometimes the one we grew accustomed to. Again, twists and turns through all the book. Will now have to wait patiently for the following book...
A Storm of Swords

Again, it was awesome. Has we get to see what happened a bit everywhere while the battle was raging in King's Landing, we don't get confused in time. After reading the foreword from the author I thought that it would get a bit confusing, but not at all. Everything seems to make sense in your head. There are twist certain to flabergast anyone!! Can't wait to start the next book!

Interesting novel that mix the history, archeology and also a little bit of supernatural. Fast pace like most of Child's novel, entertaining to the end, a good and easy read.
The Unquiet: A Charlie Parker Thriller

by

In this book, we follow Charlie Parker, PI, who has been hired to help a woman with a stalker problem. But things are not as it seems, since the stalker actually wants information about her missing father. Charlie start investigating and quickly realize that multiple forces are at play. A good book, I read it as a stand alone (I have previously read other of the Charlie Parker series, but it was a long time ago and I seem to have missed a few) So I was a bit unsure about some the missing information relating to his personnal story, but I still enjoyed it.
Curse the Names

It was an interesting book, but it left me unsatisfied. The pace is good, the storyline has potential, but it is missing a lot of context or informations. Can't really put my finger on it, but I did feel lost at some point, the story taking me in different direction without actually telling me why. It left a lot of questions and I felt like I was missing the point.
Sleepyhead

This is not the first Mark Billigham book I read. But I wanted to read it since it was the first one of the Tom Thorne series. I did find it a bit annoying to read because of the obsession of Thorne on this one suspect, I felt that it was a bit too much and I couldn't wait until he was either proved right or wrong. At the end, I did understand a bit more the direction of the novel as it sets the character for the following books. Interesting, I wil read the others in the series.

Mo Hayder always write gripping stories. This one is not an exception. I started reading this because of some reviews that mention a chilling ending, and as I got closer to the last page, I couldn't understand the hype... That is until the last two pages...
BONES ARE FOREVER: The new Tempe Brennan novel from Kathy Reichs (excerpt)

by

interesting book, starts quickly with a weird mystery. Than it quickly develop in a huge story line that will get Tempe accross canada. I did think there was something missing, one page you are in montreal, the next you are in edmonton. There was also a little of outside information missing (relationship with ryan, new character, katy... all seem like add on). Still entertaining, a good play on word with the title once you get to the end.
