I can describe the book in a word, creepy. The book is very interesting and is very fast paced and is very creepy. I have read the book and I have also listen to the audio book, read by John Glover, both are very creepy. However if you want a creepy book to read while traveling on Halloween night, then the audio book is about the best you can get. There is a lot of small problems with the book and the characters are not well devolved, it seems as if the book is written in such a way that the events happening out pace the need for character back stories. I hope that this will be corrected in the squeals. I would suggest this to any one who loves murder/serial killer books.
This book is very interesting, while not as action oriented as most of Tom Clancy's books, it is still entertaining. I found it to be an ok book, not great, but not bad either. i personally found a lot of the computer action which takes (the events with in cyberspace) place strange and confusing. However, all the events with in reality were entertaining and over all, i would have to say that i would recommended this book to any Tom Clancy fan. Hope you find this book entertaining.
i have to say that while i liked Frank Herbert's Dune, this was nothing like it. The book deals with very interesting ideas; however, it seems to short. The book lacks a lot of the detail that was put into Dune. It seems as if all the ideas that he wanted to cover were mapped out and then a story was put together; not a complete story rather just a rough draft. I have to say that after reading the book it will give you a few things to think about. it is a quick read and entertaining. I would recommended that everyone should read it at least once.
I have to say that this was a horrible book to read. It is very dated and seems like a book that has passed its time and can not find a foothold with a new generation. I have enjoyed many older books that seem to bring the reader back to that time so that he or she can still enjoy the book, this was not one of those books. I would not recommend anyone reading this book.
The book is very fast paced and the action is on the unbelievable side, however it is a good book. The story is very confusion unless you have read the first book. I picked up this book and started reading. This was a big mistake. I was lost for the first half and found that I had to start with the first book to understand what I had read. This book also leaves you at a cliffhanger, so if by the the first hundred pages if you are still reading, you will want to go buy the next book. Over all a good book, and I would recommend it to anyone.
while S.D. Perry's first original book for the series, it was very good. I found the book to be enjoyable when i read it years ago. As a young teen i found the action enjoyable and did not worry about the details, such as character plot. I would strongly recommended Perry's series of books to anyone who enjoyed playing the video games as a way to further enjoy the Resident Evil series. hope they enjoy the book as much as I did.
Maybe it was just me, but i was not very happy with the book. I loved the original foundation series and expected a lot from the prequel. The book was written many years after the original series ended and it seems as if something is missing. I kept reading the book and the more i read the more disappointed i got. i admit i expected a lot more. however if you like the foundation series then it is must read.
I expected a little more when I read the book. Over all the book is a quick read and is enjoyable but it needed more work on the charters. It was hard for me to get into the book and it felt more like I forced myself to read it rather than enjoying it.
