This story is a pretty good read. It deals alot with the jewish religion, so if you arent jewish like me, it gives you a pretty good understanding of the faith. This stroy deals with pain and loss too, but in a light and sensitive way by use of humor. If you have an exteremely relgious family or know one you will laugh through out the book at Marne comments about her family.
I loved this book! The humorous and scarcastic nature of this book had me laughing out loud. Brian is a character I think we can all relate too at some point or another. You help but feel sorry for this kid and you end up laughing at some of situations he gets himself into.
A classic Cinderella story that takes place in china during the Ming dynasty. Well written with alot of vivid detail and a good ending. However the ending feels rushed the way it was written. You will immediantly sympathize with the main character Xing Xing. Has loads of info about chinese mythology and traditon.
