Caught In A Web:Changed by Destiny

by

CAUGHT IN A WEB: Changed by Destiny is a great story to read! A true story of how I suffered such horror. It will make you cry because of what I had to endure as a child and how I escaped from the web that I once was trapped in.Filled with wisdom and compassion, Caught in a Web is Ethel Oden’s gift to victims of childhood sexual abuse and anyone struggling with hurts inflicted by others. She offers inspiration to others who were themselves abused but found healing, through whose wounds we too can be healed.Sexual abuse knows no religious or social boundaries. Caught in a Web is an intensely personal and specific look at this form of abuse. Ethel Oden explores the secret lament of the soul damaged by sexual abuse and lays hold of the hope buried there by the One whose unstained image we all bear. This book is an invaluable tool in understanding and responding to the needs of individuals who have been the victims of trauma in their lives that has had the effect of impairing their ability to have healthy relationships. The book is powerful!!! This is a book I would keep on my bookshelf to refer to others who have suffered abuse. I highly recommend this book.
Cat Daddy: What the World's Most Incorrigible Cat Taught Me About Life, Love, and Coming Clean

by and

In this book, Galaxy tells the poignant story of his thirteen-year relationship with a petite gray-and-white short-haired cat named Benny, and gives singular advice for living with, caring for, and loving the feline in your home. The writing here is exceptional. It is can’t-put-down good book. A vivid portrait of the internal battle faced in some measure by every person who has done drugs. Refreshingly candid. . . . This lively, revealing, and entertaining book is certain to roil the cat world and make a big splash beyond. What a gifted man; a great storyteller, too. I would be so happy to meet Jackson Galaxy in person and thank him for sharing his life story. This is one of the best books I've ever read, absolutely one of a kind book- eye-opening mysteries of life, love and cats told in a beautiful language. I recommend this book to all that love to read, to anyone that loves animals, especially cats. It has a great storyline, and I found often that it was hard for me to put down.
The Three Kitties That Saved My Life

by

Losing loved ones is an awful fact of life; losing one's loving spouse, one's day-to-day partner through life, especially in the prime of life, is one of the most unbearable tolls that we humans are forced to endure. This is the true story of my journey from grieving widower, not caring if I lived or died, to the once-again happily married man I am today, a man who both loves and cherishes life. My three kitties have given me a new zest for living.Everyone experiences loss. The pain of loss—whether it is the loss of a friend or loved one, the loss of a relationship, the loss of a job, or the loss of youth or health—can bring disabling feelings of helplessness, despair, numbness, and disorientation to almost anyone.I give the topic high rate. This is needed in today's society, because many are becoming widow or widower daily. The strength needed is here and everyone who are a widow or widower need this insight. God is doing great and wonderful things with His widows and widowers. God Bless the writer. To have a second chance at love is rare and a blessings. Everyone needs to love and be loved by someone. This story was so inspiring and full of all emotions one feels.I highly recommend it! Very well written and a tender true story.
The Art of Living Joyfully: How to be Happier Every Day of the Year

by

Happiness is a craving we all have. But we can't sit and wait for it to come our way, just as the ingredients for a recipe won't magically appear. We have to make a conscious effort to go out and "catch happiness."Many times throughout our day we are faced with something we want and we fulfill that want. We are thirsty—we go get something to drink. We are hungry—we go get something to eat. We want to write something down—we go get a pen. Happiness need not be any more complicated—if we want happiness, we must either go get it or create it where we are. Doses of inspiration and humor that gently and joyfully help us live more peaceful, loving, and fulfilling lives. What a wonderful book and it makes a great addition to my library. Thank you so much for putting all of these positive and helpful thoughts and affirmations together in one place. I strongly recommend this book.
Golden Boy: A Novel

by

A dramatic, thoroughgoing investigation of the complexities of sexuality and gender.... A warmly human coming-of-age story, thanks to the fact that Max is such an appealing character. And so his desperate search for identity is gripping, emotionally engaging, and genuinely unforgettable. An excellent book that treats its subject matter with care and respect, and which encourages critical thinking about the issues discussed. We need to be informed to fully understand this important issue. it is exactly what this book accomplished, it is easy to comprehend, fascinating, educational and very well written. Bravo!
The Returned

by

When I started this book I was not sure if I would like it but on I continued and got into one of the most fascinating books I have read. What I liked was the fast pace of this adventure book and also the tension caused by cultural differences. Honestly, this was a very exciting read. For every action there's a consequence and that is what the book is about. A total heart thumping action adventure book where usually only movies with loud surround speakers can give the same experience. Absolutely movie material!
Walks on the Margins: A Story of Bipolar Illness

by and

I thought this book was honest and very informing. I would recommend it to anyone who wanted to understand Bipolar Disorder. It affects so many people. Those who have it go through so much pain and torment. We need to understand that and do our best to help. I only wish there was a cure. There needs to be more research into this and a cure found.I opened the book an hour or two ago & just finished it. It was impossible put down. It was a terrifying & compelling look into the mind of a bipolar. It gave me an inkling of just how powerful the human mind can be.

Theo Grutter's Thinking Wild is the enchanting tale of one man's life in nature - and a long and rich life it is. And his wisdom is wisdom indeed: 'When I see how Theo fits into the ongoing story of life, I will be healed; I will be all well and beautiful.' So it will be for each of us.Very well written. Kept my interest from beginning to end. Many life lessons to learn, begin healing yourself.
