K2: Life and Death on the World's Most Dangerous Mountain

I loved Ed's tenacity and patience in his climbs. This is something which is slowly ebbing in the mad rush for instant gratification. Also loved the details in the 1986 incident. Good book overall.

Fun but not as good at the Amsterdam
V for Vendetta

The film is completely different in approach and story telling. No wonder Alan Moore has "boycotted" the film. What I like in the novel is that it goes deep down into the concept of anarchy (which is missing in the film) and does not glorify the superhuman aspect of V. Its ultimately the ideals that matter.
