Genre: Realistic FictionReview: This is a great book of realistic fiction because it is likely to have happened at some point. The setting and characters are well developed and it seems as thought the book could be biography. Genre: poetry, historical fiction (collection of letters) Review: It is difficult to define the genre of this book, I am not even sure I would use it in a classroom. It is a collection of letters supposedly written from Santa Clause. They are interesting as fictional writing and they are believable. The letters are believable simply because they see like a proof that Santa Clause is real.
Genre: Science fictionReview: This book is a great example of science fiction. Its plot is highly unrealistic, but yet it is believable, because of the scientific side of it. It may be unlikely that the Tripods would actually come to earth and control humans, but the author makes you believe it because the science proves that if the tripods existed it could be a real situation.
