by

It appears the end of the world has come. People are attacking each other, eating each other and spreading the infection of a zombie disease at an incredible speed. The few groups of people uninflected have to learn to live again while constantly being vigilant of the zombies that want to kill them. This book follows the stories of several characters as they try to cope and stay alive.

An enjoyable triology about what happens to the world when it is taken over by zombies and what the survivors have to do to get by. A very quick read with interesting characters.

Lizzie Engel grew up in a Mennonite household with a very judgmental father. After she had a child out of wedlock she ran away and made a new life for herself and her daughter. When her new life takes a terrible turn she is forced to return to her home. In returning home she realizes that everything and everyone were not as bad as she remembered. When her problems follow her back to her hometown she must try to put the pieces of the puzzle together to save herself and in her daughter. In the process she must learn who she can trust, who truly loves her and who has their own agenda to fulfill their own selfish desires. This was a great book that I really enjoyed. Thank you to Nancy Mehl and LibraryThing for giving me opportunity to read it.

Frank Quinn, a private detective for hire, is working with his crew on the investigation of a series of gruesome murders that mimic the murders of serial killer Daniel Danielle, thought to be killed in a hurricane years ago. Frank's team must discover if Daniel Danielle is alive and killing again or if there is a copy cat serial killer that needs to be stopped. This was a great book and I would highly recommend it.
