Since I really liked Wally Lamb's other works, I was looking forwrd to reading this novel. However, I was quite disappointed with the book. The more I got into the book, the more I found it dull and repetitive. The Columbine aspect of the story was interesting, but the way the author wove the past into the novel just seemed too boring and too long. This book was a near miss.
This book is a touching recount of stories of those impacted by multiple sclerosis. The stories are touching and the photographs are engaging. This book appeals to those personally affected by multiple sclerosis. This is a quick and easy read. I believe this would be most interesting to those who have multiple sclerosis or whose family members are affected by this disease. It is really an inspirational book and the stories are about everyday people.
