With New-Age drivel everywhere, corrupting ancient doctrines, and a plethora of books on the subject of "Tantric S&M," written by uneducated morons with little to no understanding, it is *Immensely* refreshing to read an account of "true" Tantric practice. Kudos!
I tend to review a book only if I find it exceptionally informative & inspiring, or if it's so unbelievably horrid I feel a duty to warn potential readers not to waste their time.
To say this garbage is a blending of watered-down, westernized "hippy" Taoism with the absolute worst New-Age, Fluffy-Bunny balderdash would give this book far too much credit.
The author so humbly claims that the Tao (which he also refers to as "the Divine," sees, speaks, and relates with as an anthropomorphic figure) has chosen him to usher in a new era of spiritual grown & understanding. How original.
And, like so many other aspiring New Age prophets, he fills book after book with words; yet, amazingly, rarely ever actually says anything of even the slightest value.
He takes concepts such as the "Dan Tien," renames them, and claims they are part of this new special system he's been charged by the Divine to usher into this New Era. Why? Because he has been working as a spiritual teacher & servant of humanity for "thousands of lifetimes."
This book is literally painful to read and I'm gobsmacked that anyone can be so spiritually & intellectually void as to take anything written in this book seriously. It could have been an entertaining example of the gullibly of New Age seekers, but the book is so poorly written it's not even funny.
