He also holds a PhD in Classics (University of Valladolid, Sp...view moreJosé Pablo Barragán (Valladolid, Spain, 1981) is a Graduate Instructor and PhD student in Spanish Literature in the University of Iowa. He also holds a PhD in Classics (University of Valladolid, Spain, 2010) and a degree in Literary Theory and Comparative Literatures (University of Valladolid, Spain, 2008). His research interests include textual criticism, relationships between science and literature from the Middle Ages to the present day, and Spanish contemporary poetry. He has published a book (El De secretis mulierum atribuido a Alberto Magno: Estudio, edición crítica y traducción. FIDEM: Porto, 2012) and several papers on those topics. He has also published two books of poems, Lugares comunes (Universidad de Sevilla: Sevilla, 2008), y La Nave (El Gaviero: Almería 2012).view less
