ISSUE 13 July 2012 Dear LSR Member, Thanks to those of you who braved the rain and came along to the July #TechMeetups last night with Yammer. Remember they're hiring in London at the moment: https://www.yammer.com/about/jobs/ As I mentioned last night, our Mobile App Hackathon is coming up next weekend from 6pm Friday 20 July to 6pm Sunday 22 July. This is a fantastic opportunity to come along and either pitch your app idea to form a team and build it, or attend as one of the audience, see if you like any of the ideas and become a valuable team member in helping create that app prototype there and then. We encourage everyone to get involved, whatever their skills background (developer, designer, marketer). Also, on Saturday we'll be running a series of workshops which you can get involved in as a hackathon participant or just book and drop-in between 10:30am - 12noon for the workshops only. Finally - there is still the opportunity for companies to get involved by becoming a Sponsor of lunch on either Saturday or Sunday. Let me know if you're interested and I'll share more details.
