Waltham Forest Cycling Action Plan bears fruit

If you or somebody you know is planning to do the test, please contact the council and Six local driving schools have choose a driving school that is already signed up to bikeaware. Waltham Forest has embraced this pop up brand and six driving schools have already pledged to teach safe driving around cyclists, to get Bikeability training for driving instructors and to encourage new drivers to get Bikeability training as well.

For the kids there is a pedal powered disco plus they can learn bush craft skills and even see alpacas. Dr. Bike and Police bike security marking will take care of your bike and you can enjoy a BMX stunt team. The event is near the Squadrons Approach entrance, starts at 12 noon and ends at 5. Newhaven to London: marshalls wanted

Marshalls are needed for a ride from Newhaven to Tower Bridge in London, welcoming a contingent of over 180 French, Chinese and other Paralympic cyclists arriving from France on 27 August. Their ferry will dock at 6am. After a reception in Newhaven they will ride to Lewes for a tour of the town, and through a quiet rolling country side on to Crawley for an overnight stay. The next day they will continue to London with a couple of ascents over the North Downs some great views of London there. Interested? Contact Dwight Wood at dw@itdoesthejob.com.

E17 Art Trail We are trailing again for the biggest E17 Art Trail yet. Three weeks of Walthamstow's finest art and craft with bike rides to selcted venues on each weekend.
