Solid Modeling 1. Getting Your Bearings For those of you who have never used ProE, this is the best place to start! This ProE Tutorial teaches the new user how to use Pro/E from the beginning. If you have been waiting to learn, now is the time with this ProE Tutorial. We begin by teaching you about the philosophy behind parametric modeling and associativity. Both are very powerful topics that require a bit of explanation. Then we dive into some basic ProE terminology for the new user.

Once you feel comfortable with the idea behind ProE, move on to firing off a session of ProE. You will then open up a part and learn how to manipulate the model... zoom, pan, spin, and more. The environment has many different options so we discuss in great detail the different environment settings that are available. Finally, the ProE Tutorial covers the basics of the graphical user interface (GUI) and touches on the Config.pro file. If you have never used ProE before or need a quick refresher, this is the ProE Tutorial to start with.
