 Show this power point everyday as part of your word study program. Have the students read the letter, say the sound, and then read the label. (Ex. A, /a/, Apple Jacks.) Print this power point on white card stock and put each page in a protector sleeve. Put them in order (or mix them up) and make a book to read to the students. Put this book at the writing station for the students to copy. Print this power point on white card stock. Cut the letters and pictures out. Laminate the pictures and letters. Make a match game. Print this power point on white card stock and use as a word wall for other environmental print. Have the students bring other trash from home and have them sort it at a station or whole group. Print this power point on white card stock and laminate each page. Sort the pictures by other attributes (ex. stores, foods, clothes, etc.)
