Project Information

Description of Project to be Funded

Book Buddy Tigers is a new campus wide program for all students. The program will

will begin the start of the school year after teachers receive student results from Running

Record. Book Buddy Tigers is a program that will have students "buddy" together

that are on the same ready level school wide. Students will also share similar interests

hoping for students to create a bond and a new reading buddy.

When will the project begin and what is your Timeline?

The program will begin

August 2021 and will end May 2022.

What measurable outcomes do you expect if your program is successful?

The outcome of Book Buddy Tigers is to join students school wide together to increase

more reading with someone that has a common interest. Students will make a new friend

and their reading levels will increase by two levels.

What is your projected cost per person served?

What is your track record? In the last few years, we have changed the purchasing from books
that are non-fiction to fiction, graphic novels, sports, entertainment and such. We leave research to
topics that are found on Texquest, or Internet sources and we get our electronic books from
Tumblebooks.
How will you share your program with the world? I will share Book Buddy Tigers

to the world by using my Twitter account and Facebook. I will use the #bookbuddytiger

and attach multiple photos of the students being engaged in the program.
