I. Audience: Mays High School Instructional Staff, Content Area Teachers, Special
Education Teachers, Administrators

II. Professional Learning Standard: Georgia Standards of Excellence for ELA, Math,
Science, and Social Studies on multiple grade levels.

III. Instructional Goals:

1. Goal: To ensure instructional staff have the knowledge to integrate Freckle as an online

reading resource to prepare and keep students engaged as a 21st century learner.

a. Objective 1.1: Create a Freckle class manually or import students from Google

Classroom for each class period.

b. Objective 1.2: Add an assignment by picking a standard for each class period.

c. Objective 1.3: Select students and assign them to their differentiated resource.

2. Goal: Create and schedule a Freckle assignment through OneNote or Google classroom.

a. Objective 2.4: Copy then add a link to OneNote/Google Classroom.

b. Objective 2.5: Schedule a date to begin

3. Goal: To ensure instructional staff have the knowledge to navigate through Freckle to retrieve

data based on the Georgia Standards of Excellence.

a. Objective 2.1: View student progress in real time.

b. Objective 2.2: View reports per assignment.
