ABSTRACT Human behavior concerns to the assortment of behaviors exhibited by humans which are influenced by culture, attitudes, emotions, values, ethics, authority, rapport, hypnosis, persuasion, coercion and or genetics. The behavior of people falls within a range with some behavior being common, some unusual, some acceptable, and some outside acceptable limits. Deeper understanding of human behavior at work has a potential to deliver a death knell to the cubicle. The acceptability of behavior is evaluated relative to social norms and regulated by various means of social control. The behavior of humans is studied by the academic disciplines of psychiatry, psychology, social work, sociology, economics, and anthropology. Various factors affect human behaviors at work. Harmonizing the behavioral epitome involves extensive use of psychology at work. Leveraging human behavioral cognitions will enhance productivity and lead to better business results. This paper examines the quintessence of diverse human behaviors at workplaces for creating a congenial atmosphere. The Anatomy of human behavior is discussed in length to draw a meaningful conclusion for effective implementation of certain traits at workplaces for maximizing the human contribution for the organizational growth for mutual advantage and betterment.
