More and more diseases are bec oming resistant to all antibiotics: such as Tuberculosis and Staph. Then, there are the new diseases that are emerging: such as AIDS, Lyme Disease, E. Coli, Ebo la, Hepatitis A. According to Dr. James Hughes, director of the National Center for Infectious Diseases, "Microbes have evaluation on their side. An Army of dea dly bacteria has learned to get around our defenses." During the past sixty years, Americans have become complacent believing they hav e the "big guns" of antibiotics that can virtually cure any ailment. Yet, in 199 2, 13,300 hospital patients died of infections that resisted every drug tried. T rying to cripple bacteria's defenses will not do more than buy us another five t o ten years. It appeares, that it would be best to abandon antibiotics altogethe r in favor of different kinds of approaches. Science Digest suggested an answer in the March, 1978 article titled "Our Mighti est Germ Fighter." This article by Jim Fowel stated, "Thanks to eye opening rese arch, silver is emerging as a wonder of modem medicine. Antibiotics kills perhap s a half-dozen different disease organisms, but silver kills some six hundred-an d-fifty. Resistance strains fail to develop. More ever, silver is virtually nont oxic Dr. Henry Crooks, in his book, "Use of Colloids in Health and Disease" says, "In laboratory test, It was found that all fungus, virus, bacterium, streptococcus, staphylococcus and all pathogenic organisms were killed in three or four minute s. In fact, there is no known microbe that is not killed by colloidal silver in six minutes." In "Colloidal Silver" by the Association for Colloidal Research, it reported tha t: Medical Journal Reports and documented studies spanning one hundred years, in dicated no known side effects from oral or I.V. administration of properly manuf actured Colloidal Silver in animal or human testing. This is not a new medication. Since the 1800's until 1938, the medical professio n used silver in the colloidal state to successfully treat a variety of disseise es. The main draw back then, was that it was expensive to manufacture. With adve nt of the much cheaper Penicillin, doctors switched to using the Pharmaceutical antibiotics. If colloidal silver is so effective, why aren't doctors using it? Some are ...Bu t on the whole, most doctors do not know of this so called "miracle medicine." W hy not? Because doctors are highly trained in the use of antibiotics made by the pharmaceutical companies. The pharmaceutical companies spend an enormous amount of money making sure that the doctors are well informed about their products, w hile other products go unnoticed. Silver, on the other hand, is not patentable, so, there is no huge profit in promoting it. And besides, it appears that silver can replace all antibiotics. What is colloidal silver? It is pure silver, such as used in jewelry, reduced to a very small size. It is so small that literally floats in a liquid, such as pu re water. A solid substance suspended in a liquid is said to be in a colloidal s tate. The list of diseases that colloidal silver can cure seems endless. Some are: AID S, allergies, bladder infection, blood parasites, cancer, cholera, dandruff, dia betes, colds, flue; the list goes on and on. For older persons, there is a chara cteristic of colloidal silver that is of utmost importance. It will create a sec ond immune system if taken internally on a regular basis. As we age our immune s ystem diminishes in effectiveness by about one percent per year. By the time we are sixty-five, the immune system is dangerously diminished. Taking colloidal si lver regularly will give you the immune system of your youth, and better. You buy colloidal silver in "health food" stores. A 4 oz. bottle will cost in th e order of $25.00 to $35.00. The price varies considerably, it pays to shop. The "Colloidal Silver Handbook" recommends as a dosage, one teaspoon per day. It sh ould be taken with food. If a cold or an infection clears up in three days or le ss, you are about right in dosage. If not, increase to 150% of the recommended a

mount for about a week. If the infection is not gone in a week, increase to 200% . It is best to error on the high side since taking high dosages is still safe. You can continue the dosage that you find effective indefinitely to establish an d hold the immune system. It is always best to consult a "health practitioner" when taking any medication. Be sure to select a practitioner that is familiar with the use of colloidal sil ver. Four strains of C Neoformans were tested and they were k illed by the preparation at 150-300 PPM. The growth of these strains were inhibi ted at a concentration as low as 0.3 PPM. Three strains of C. Albicans were test ed and they were killed by the preparation at between 46 and 93 PPM. Growth was inhibited at between 0.7 and 1.4 PPM.
