3. ELIGIBILITYCRITERIA: a. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: 10th Pass or ITI or equivalent. Candidates who are appearing at and/or awaiting results of final examination of class 10th on the last dateofdownloadingofapplicationarenoteligibletoapply.Academicqualification must be from a recognized Educational Institution / Board/University, otherwise candidature shall be rejected. Candidates having higher educational qualification mayalsoapply. b. AGELIMIT(includingrelaxationprovisions):Shouldbebetween1833yearsason 01.01.2013. The upper age will be relaxed as under, subject to production of requisitecertificates: i. Bank will charge a nominal amount for the transaction which is already mentioned in the challan form. Sitting Member of Parliament of Rajya Sabha for persons of the districtinwhichtheseMPsnormallyreside.

Selected candidates are likely to be posted anywhere on Western Railway aftersuccessfulcompletionoftrainingwhereverprescribed. Candidateshouldsendhis/herapplicationsufficientlyinadvance,beforethe closing date, to the RRCWR. Railway Recruitment Cell will not be responsibleforanypostaldelay/wrongdelivery,whatsoever,atanystageof theselectionprocess. All candidates, irrespective of community, will be considered for UR vacancies without any age relaxation for UR vacancies. However, against vacancies of specific community quota, only candidates of that particular community will be considered, and any subsequent representation for change of community status will not be entertained under any circumstances. 8. SYLLABUS&EXAMINATION:
Question paper for the Written Test shall be of Class 10th standard, consisting of 150 multiplechoice(four)objectivetypequestions,mainlyaimedtoassessgeneralknowledge/ awareness,mathematics,generalscienceandreasoningetc.Questionpapershallbeprinted in Hindi, English, Urdu, Marathi and Gujarati only. The duration of Written Test shall be 2 (two)hours.Negativemarkingshallprevail. 9. DATESANDVENUE:ofwrittenexamination,physicalefficiencytest,medicalexamination and Documents Verification shall be fixed by the RRCWR and intimated to eligible candidatesbyBusinessPost.ExaminationschedulewillbepublishedonWebsiteandNews papersinduecourse. 10. ACTION AGAINST CANDIDATES FOUND GUILTY OF MISCONDUCT: Candidates are warnedthattheyshouldnotfurnishanyparticularsthatarefalseorsuppressanymaterial information while filling in the application form. Candidates are also warned that they shouldinnocaseattempttoalterorotherwisetamperwithanyentryinadocumentorits attested/certified copy submitted by them nor should they submit a tampered/fabricated document. If there is any inaccuracy or any discrepancy, an explanation regarding such discrepancy should be submitted. candidature by any means or Impersonating or Procuring impersonation or Submitting fabricated/tampered documents or Making statements which are incorrect or false, or suppressingmaterialinformationorResortingtoanyotherirregularorimpropermeansfor furtherance of his candidature for the selection or Using unfair means during the examination, or possessing , carrying or using mobile phone, calculator or any other such instrumentorWritingirrelevantmatterincludingobscenelanguageorpornographicmatter in the script(s) or Committing mischief in any other manner in the examination hall or HarassingordoingbodilyharmtothestaffemployedbytheRRCWRfortheconductofthe test, may, in addition to action under relevant provisions of the Rules/Laws, shall render himselfliabletocriminalprosecutionandshallfurther a. bedisqualifiedbytheRRCWRfromselectionforwhichheisacandidate,or b. bedebarred,eitherpermanentlyorforaperioddecidedbytheRRCWR,from anyexaminationorselectionconductedbyanyoftheRailwayRecruitmentCells /RailwayRecruitmentBoards. c. betakenupfordisciplinaryactionundertheappropriaterules,ifheisalreadyin service. 11. LEGALDISPUTES: For any legaldispute,the jurisdictionwill be atCentral Administrative Tribunal,MumbaiandHighCourt,Mumbaionly. 12. Incaseofanydispute,Englishversionoftheemploymentnoticewillbetreatedasvalid. 13. DECISIONOFRAILWAYRECRUITMENTCELLshallbeFINAL:ThedecisionofRRCWRin allmattersrelatingtoeligibility,acceptanceorrejectionoftheapplications,issueoffreerail passes, penalty for false information, mode of selection, conduct of examination(s), allotment of examination centre, allotment of posts/places to selected candidates and all othermattersrelatedwithconductofrecruitmentprocesswillbefinalandbindingonthe candidates,andnoenquiryorcorrespondencewillbeentertainedinthisconnection.
