Adjective of quality adalah kata sifat yang menunjukkan mutu atau kualitas suatu benda, misalnya: good, fat, dry, clever, heavy, clean, kind, old, new, young, beautiful, difficult, happy, kind, sad, strong, ugly, hot, cold, rich, poor, strange, etc. Keberadaan adjective of quality dapat dikenali dengan menggunakan pertanyaan What kind of? (yang seperti apa? atau yang macam apa?) What kind of man? Old man What kind of lady?
