Procedures for Making a Knot before Attacking

The first and third members coil a rope around their waists, tie a bowline knot, and put a karabiner to the knot. Next, they turn the knots to their backs.

The second member puts the end of a search rope on his left shoulder. The second member holds the rope end and turns to the left in cooperation with the fourth member.

The second member coils the rope around his waist three or more turns and ties a bowline knot. Next, he turns the knot to his back.

The first member puts a karabiner to the coil of the second member.

The third member puts a karabiner to the search rope.
