The masthead is black and bold and the letters are far apart from each other.

This makes it a lot easier to read, the masthead is similar to the game Grand theft auto, GTA is a game t hat appeals to 16+ audiences, so from this we can gather that Vibe is aimed at this demographic. Magazine is written in a simple and plain font, so that the audiences focus goes straight to the Vibe. The word Vibe connotes music and feelings.

The masthead Vogue is in sleek and feminine capital letters. Vogue being written in capital letters connotes its power and intimidating front that it puts on for its readers, we can tell that it has a lot of authority. The typography is very sleek and classy, when I think of Vogue I think of writing thats on wedding invitations, which look very sophisticated. The pink connotes Womanliness and femininity.

The masthead of OK! Is written in capital letters, it is a very short word, but it is very easy to remember. The writing itself is bold and in white, it stands out with the red highlighted bit in the back. White connotes purity whereas Red connotes fire, love and passion. As OK! Is a gossip magazine, it could mean that its okay to read OK! As its innocent and truthful with a bit of an edge to it.

The masthead of match is very masculine and bold. It is filled with red but has a white and black outline. Most of the teams in the premier league who are considered the top teams have red as a brand identity like Manchester united Arsenal and Liverpool; this is my interpretations and thoughts of why it is red. The red contrasts very well with the yellow in the back as it looks very eyecatching and bold. It is written in capital letters with an exclamation mark , so it looks intimidating and powerful, the exclamation mark makes it look as if its urgent and in need of an emergency to buy it. The dot at the end of the exclamation mark is in a football, this makes it look more fun and creative.
