Discipline in Texas schools

A research team analyzed the school and juvenile justice records of almost a million Texas students over six years to shed light on how discipline relates to students' academics and their run-ins with the juvenile justice system. Here's a look at what they found.

Percentage of students disciplined at least once. Percentage of disciplined students who repeated a grade at least once. For students disciplined, average number of disciplinary actions. Percentage of disciplinary actions for conduct in which state law mandates suspension or explusion.
