Why do we consider St. Lorenzo as a true Christian witness?

 He sacrificed his life

for Jesus. He did not denounce Jesus even til his death. The Holy Spirit strengthened him to become loyal until the end.

St. Lorenzo Ruiz lived out his life in faithfulness to his duty as Altar Server, a loyal escribano, a loving husband, and a responsible father to his children.
As a layman, his family was his inspiration to do his job well

He lived out the baptismal grace that he received by sharing in the three important roles of Jesus: as a Priest, Prophet, and King. As a priest, he never gets tired of praying for others. As a prophet, he continued spreading the Good News to others. As a king he never lost hope in serving others through his mission in Japan.

What can we learn from St. Lorenzo?

How did St. Lorenzo Ruiz surpass many difficulties and trials? By the help of the Holy Spirit, he was able to surpass these things. As a Christian, St. Lorenzo Ruiz was always guided by the Holy Spirit, to be brave and strong, even to the point of giving his life for His faith in Christ.

We Respond Like St. Lorenzo, how can I stand up for my faith? How can I become a true witness of Jesus Christ in my own way? If you have thousand lives, will you still offer them all to God? Why or why not?
