O, for a Thousand Tongues to Sing

O, for a thousand tongues to sing My great Redeemers praise The glories of my God and King The triumphs of His grace

My gracious Master and my God Assist me to proclaim To spread through all the earth abroad The honors of Thy name

So come on and sing out Let our anthem grow loud There is one great love Jesus

Jesus, the name that charms our fears That bids our sorrows cease Tis music in the sinners ears Tis life and health and peace

He breaks the power of cancelled sin He sets the prisoners free His blood can make the foulest clean His blood availed for me

So come on and sing out Let our anthem grow loud There is one great love, There is one great love Jesus

He speaks and listening to His voice New life the dead receive The mournful broken hearts rejoice The humble poor believe

Glory to God and praise and love Be ever, ever givn By saints below and saints above The church in earth and Heavn

So come on and sing out Let our anthem grow loud There is one great love, There is one great love Jesus Jesus.

There are so few words That never grow old There are so few words That never grow old Jesus, Jesus, Jesus.

So come on and sing out Let our anthem grow loud There is one great love, So, come on. So, come on. So, come on.

So come on and sing out Let our anthem grow loud There is one great love, There is one great love, Oh, there is one great love: Jesus.

The Perfect Wisdom of Our God

Sanctuary Choir

The perfect wisdom of our God, Revealed in all the universe: All things created by His hand, And held together at His command. He knows the mysteries of the seas, The secrets of the stars are His; He guides the planets on their way, And turns the earth through another day.

The perfect timing of His ways along the path of righteousness. His word a lamp unto my feet, His Spirit teaching and guiding me. And O, the wisdom of the cross, to save the helpless and the lost. He chose the fool to shame the wise that all the glory might go to Christ!

Alleluia, alleluia. Alleluia, alleluia. Alleluia, alleluia!

Oh grant me wisdom from above, To pray for peace and cling to love, And teach me humbly to receive The sun and rain of Your sovereignty. Each strand of sorrow has a place Within this tapestry of grace; So through the trials I choose to say: Your perfect will in your perfect way.

Alleluia, alleluia! Alleluia, Alleluia, Amen!

And Can It Be?

1. And can it be that I should gain An interest in the Saviors blood? Died He for me, who caused His pain? For me, who Him to death pursued? Amazing love! how can it be That Thou, my God, shouldst die for me?

Amazing love! how can it be That Thou, my God, shouldst die for me?

2. He left His Fathers throne above; So free, so innite His grace. Emptied Himself of all but love, And bled for Adams helpless race. Tis mercy all, immense and free, For, O my God, it found out me.

Amazing love! how can it be That Thou, my God, shouldst die for me?

3. Long my imprisoned spirit lay Fast bound in sin and natures night; Thine eye diffused a quickening ray, I woke, the dungeon amed with light. My chains fell off; my heart was free. I rose, went forth and followed Thee.

Amazing love! how can it be That Thou, my God, shouldst die for me?

4. No condemnation now I dread; Jesus, and all in Him is mine! Alive in Him, my living Head, And clothed in righteousness divine; Bold I approach theternal throne And claim the crown, through Christ, my own.

Amazing love! how can it be That Thou, my God, shouldst die for me? Amazing love! how can it be That Thou, my God, shouldst die for me?

My Song Is Love Unknown

My song is love unknown, my Saviors love to me Love to the loveless shown, that they might lovely be Oh who am I that for my sake My Lord should take frail esh and die?

He came from His blest throne salvation to bestow But men made strange, and none the longed for Christ would know But oh my Friend, my Friend indeed Who at my need His life did spend

Sometimes they strew His way, and His sweet praises sing Resounding all the day, hosannas to their King Then Crucify! is all their breath And for His death they thirst and cry

Why, what hath my Lord done? What makes this rage and spite? He made the lame to run, He gave the blind their sight Sweet injuries! Yet they at these Themselves displease, and gainst Him rise

They rise and needs will have my dear Lord made a way A murderer they save; the Prince of Life they slay Yet cheerful He to suffering goes That He His foes from thence might free

In life no house, no home, my Lord on earth might have In death no friendly tomb but what a stranger gave What may I say? Heavn was His home But mine the tomb wherein He lay

Here might I stay and sing; no story so divine Never was love, dear King! never was grief like Thine This is my Friend, in whose sweet praise I all my days could gladly spend

Never was love, dear King! never was grief like Thine This is my Friend, in whose sweet praise I all my days could gladly spend

1 Timothy 1:12-16

Congregational Reading

I thank him who has given me strength, Christ Jesus our Lord, because he judged me faithful, appointing me to his service, though formerly I was a blasphemer, persecutor, and insolent opponent. But I received mercy because I had acted ignorantly in unbelief, and the grace of our Lord overowed for me with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.

The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost. But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life.

Alas, and Did My Savior Bleed

Alas, and did my Savior bleed And did my Sovereign die? Would He devote that sacred head For such a worm as I? Was it for sins that I had done He groaned upon the tree? Amazing pity, grace unknown And love beyond degree

My God, why would You shed Your blood So pure and undeled To make a sinful one like me Your chosen, precious child?

Well might the sun in darkness hide And shut His glories in When Christ, the mighty Maker, died For man, the creatures, sin Thus might I hide my blushing face While His dear cross appears Dissolve my heart in thankfulness And melt my eyes to tears

My God, why would You shed Your blood So pure and undeled To make a sinful one like me Your chosen, precious child?

Speak, O Lord

Speak, O Lord, as we come to You To receive the food of Your Holy Word. Take Your truth, plant it deep in us; Shape and fashion us in Your likeness, That the light of Christ might be seen today In our acts of love and our deeds of faith. Speak, O Lord, and fulll in us All Your purposes for Your glory.

Teach us, Lord, full obedience, Holy reverence, true humility; Test our thoughts and our attitudes In the radiance of Your purity. Cause our faith to rise; cause our eyes to see Your majestic love and authority. Words of pow'r that can never fail Let their truth prevail over unbelief.

Speak, O Lord, and renew our minds; Help us grasp the heights of Your plans for us Truths unchanged from the dawn of time That will echo down through eternity. And by grace we'll stand on Your promises, And by faith we'll walk as You walk with us. Speak, O Lord, till Your church is built And the earth is lled with Your glory.

Surrender

Im giving You my heart, And all that is within I lay it all down For the sake of You, my King. Im giving You my dreams, Im laying down my rights, Im giving up my pride For the promise of new life.

And I surrender all to You, All to You. And I surrender all to You, All to You.

Im singing You this song, Im waiting at the cross. And all the world holds dear, I count it all as loss For the sake of knowing You, The glory of Your name; To know the lasting joy, Even sharing in Your pain.

And I surrender all to You, All to You. And I surrender all to You, All to You.

And I surrender all to You, All to You. And I surrender all to You, All to You.
