As a member and contributor of the Chinese Culture Foundation, you are a true friend. 2012 has been a year of overcoming obstacles and achieving new milestones. I am proud to share that we have made extensive progress toward our goal of becoming a premiere international destination that brings together Chinatown residents, art enthusiasts , visitors and youth. Your support has enabled the Chinese Culture Foundation to take a leading role in transforming the community by broadening perspectives, building connections, and stimulating new understanding of the possibilities within Chinese and American culture. We need your leadership to sustain our art and community initiatives, and to continue making critical contributions to our country's dynamic cultural fabric. In this season of sharing, we invite you to make a special gift to the Chinese Culture Foundation to help us raise $30,000 in order to meet our year-end obligations. Your gift is 100% tax deductible. Your generous contribution will enable us to make critical cultural and social impact. * $5000 will support CCCArts XianRui (Fresh and Sharp) exhibition and, Artist in Residence program, and Young Artist Series * $3000 will support the new Him Mark Lai Learning Center on youth leadership * $2000 will support the Chinatown Music and Dim Sum Festival * $1000 will support CCCs operations, keeping our doors open to the public * $500 will support C4 (CCC Cinema) for free movies screenings * $200 will support Winter Fair/Spring Festival and year round membership activities. Our emcees, the lovely Gin Ho and Minna Tao delighted everyone with their casual banter and introduction of our events for the evening.

The dinner program started with a performance by dancers from the Chinese Folk Dance Association.

Our guests enjoyed a fabulous Beijing cuisine with great wine pairing! The Empress of China did a wonderful job providing us with our 11-course dinner, paired with 4 wines.

The evening came to a close with guests opening their fortune cookies to see if they had won a prize. 25 people did! Silent auction items sold out. Our live auction was also a success.
