NAVAL AC ADEMY TO TAKE ON ARIZONA AT FIGHT HUNGER BOWL


Navy (8-4) and Arizona State (7-5) will meet on the gridiron for the first time at the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl on Dec. 29 at AT&T Park in San Francisco. The game will kick at 1:00 PM in San Francisco (4:00 PM ET) and will be televised by ESPN2. Tickets for the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl are on sale now at: http://bit.ly/VmjOhh Tickets can also be purchased by calling 1-800-US4NAVY or at the Ricketts Hall Box Office. Ticket prices are $25 (Upper Level End Zone), $40 (Upper Level Corner), $50 (Upper Level Sideline and Lower Level End Zone and Corner), $60 (Lower Level Sideline and Sideline Bleacher behind the team bench) and $75 (Club).

The Naval Academys Midshipman Action Group completed its annual Harvest for the Hungry food collection drive Nov. 30, collecting 13,222 pounds of food for the Anne Arundel County Food Bank.

Dress in your holiday best and enjoy the annual Family Winter Gala at the Billy the Kid Youth Center Dec. 15 from 4 to 6 p.m. Enjoy food, music, dancing, a wreathdecorating contest, and games and share the holiday spirit with your family and friends. There will be a teen field trip to the Symphony of Lights Dec. 20 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Register at the Youth Center in advance; cost is $5/person. Also, the Youth Center will offer a trip to Liberty Ski Resort Jan. 12 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cost is $90 for lift ticket, rental and transportation. Both trips are open to 6th-12th graders.
