To someone who looks after the disabled toilet, person or persons unknown have blocked out with black texta the word NOT, therefore considering the library an appropriate location for the use of illicit drugs etc. Thank you muchly all

Our Response
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have restored the sign and would appreciate being informed should the problem re-occur.

Noticeboard in the foyer should be for COMMUNITY NOTICES and marketing for the Arts Centre is a PRIVATE MATTER. As long as libraries are PUBLICLY FUNDED our notices should take precedent over marketing which is PRIVATE. NOT putting public notices behind trolleys.

The Arts Centre and Frankston Library, which are owned and supported by Frankston Council, have always placed their marketing on the board in the foyer, however they now have a more distinct area of display. The decision to move the Community notices to the left of the foyer entrance and into the library was because some people found it more difficult to access and/or read the board when the Library foyer Caf was filled with customers. As the trolleys are often being utilized by library patrons, it generally means the public notices can be read, as we try to keep the area free as much as possible.

Best Library in the Melbourne Area, possibly in Victoria. A great collection of books especially Large Print. Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Great place to hang out, access computers, wander around for books. Sunday activities are great. I love coming here. The staff are really nice. I like reading. I love reading. Library Services very helpful. Thanks I love the books because I like the animals! I love books! I love books because they have lots of facts and details. Excellent! I am new to the area and very happy to see such a well set up library and helpful staff. They helped me this morning to find craft groups in the area. In my last library in Queensland they had small groups that used the library for both, card making and knitting groups to gather once a month for a few hours on a Wednesday morning. It was very successful but not loud or distracting to other library users. Why are people allowed to eat in the library?

Thank you for your kind words. We aim to provide a space for our customers to learn, dream, connect and grow. It is encouraging to receive feedback from our young patrons who so clearly enjoy reading and appreciate the resources and services we provide.

Thank you for your kind words and suggestions. We are always looking for new ways to make our library a place for the community to connect.

We like to promote a casual atmosphere and trust our patrons to act responsibly when consuming food or drink in the library.

Should be more silence in a library

Our Response
The library caters for people of all ages and from all walks of life. Thats why we created zones for quiet study, childrens activities and events and programs for young and old. There are 3 rooms in the library that can also be used by the public for quiet study or reading. Our story times and events are publicized well in advance and usually run for a short duration. Thanks for your suggestion. Thank you for your suggestion. We currently reviewing our loan limits so watch this space.

Water fountain for the Summer or sell cold water. Also, turn up aircon in the library for the Summer. It would be nice to be able to borrow 7 DVDs since there are 7 days in a week and TV is not worth watching these days.

I consider it the most intelligent supplier. magazine and I miss it. Hello, if you are reading this you will probably be thinking that this is a waste of time and it probably is I want you the reader to know something I LOVE STUDIO Ghibli! I just remembered something. I always get annoyed when I want to read a manga but you are missing a bunch of them in the middle of the series. Most of them you only have the first one. In Library wars you only have 1 and 7. Boo hoo. The anime/manga section is seriously depleted especially the Inu yasha series, its missing everything from volume 6 40 something. Its an awesome series and it would be good to be read in its entirety. I hope you can fix it soon. Thank you. Can you get A flair for the dramatic by Pierce The Veil? Also you need to get manga that starts from number 1 and not half way through. Any books on rebounding? An update on car manuals 98 au Ford Falcon Please can you get book sustainable food by Michael Mobbs? Thanks Scooby Doo

Thank you for your feedback. We purchase our manga series in order of publication and try to keep series complete when we withdraw books from the collection by replacing them. However early books in a series are not always available to be repurchased as they are no longer in print or in stock from our supplier. If you find a gap in a manga series please speak to a librarian at the information desk to see if get another copy for you.

Thank you for your suggestions. We will investigate the possibility of acquiring these items.
