S.N.V.U.P.S SCHOOL ALOOR celebrated the English fest on January 8, 2013 with enthusiasm .The event was hosted within the school premise .we were graced by the presence of our Manager Shri E.K Mohanan as our chief guest of honour. He inagurated our fest. His speech on the importance of English language and about

the Europian culture was particularly uplifting.PTA president shri. Shibu.R addressed the gathering as well .The school headmistress Smt.Jayaprabha teacher delivered a good speech.The spoken English sir Shri C.R.Jose and our senior teacher Shri. V. Asokan also delivered a good felicitation for the children.

The English fest continued with colourful programmes. Children presented so many skits,choreography,action songs ,events ,book reviews etc. The week long fest which we organized last week was a major step towards the improvement of standard of English in the school campus.

P.K.Jayaprabha Headmistress I am very happy to announce that English fest conducted in Aloor panchayath was a happy occasion for the children to speak English. The pupil participated in the English fest are very happy parents were also so impressed in this programme . Because the children can develop their language through this fest. Hearty congratulations to the organizers of the programme Mala BRC.

CLASS REPORT
In our school we celebrated English fest with great interest and with great enthusiasm. The stage was decorated with balloons English alphabets, and with colourful ribbons. After the inaugural function the programmes started. The students from all classes participated in the fest. They show their best performance on the stage. The first item was the beautiful rhymes of "Johny Johny yes papa" presented by the first standard students. After that so many programmes were performed on the stage. The enthusiasm and the competitive spirit with which the students participated in the various competitions and programs was encouraging.

The presentation of the news show was really an outstanding one. The silent rally contucted between the news show was an amazing one.

All enjoyed the choreography of Watering Rhymes, the beauty of the sun, flowers, mountains and the job of the gardener really attracted the audience..The children sang the song very well. The event management "The Magazine realizing", function was a talented performance. The Fest maintained a high standard and proved itself to be a shot in the arm, giving the students a feel of the English language. In the afternoon section we conduct an English chart exhibition and a good book exhibition. The main attraction of chart exhibition was "Tongue twisters". all students are very interested to read it and all enjoyed it. In the exhibition many book reviews are exhibited, that are prepared by the children. They prepare book reviews of Mahathma Gandhi's "My experiments with truth, " Wings of fire written by A.P.J Abdul Kalam. Panchathantra stories by Vishnu Sharma, "Chemmeen " by Thakazhi etc. The fest was acclaimed a great success. A sincere word of thanks to Smt. Jayaprabha teacher our headmistress, for all the guidance and encouragement in making this Fest a learning experience, Shri E.K Mohanan, our manager, for his support, P.T.A. president Shri. Shibu for his support, to all the teachers for their whole-hearted co-operation and tireless work and to all the students for their hard work and active participation in all the events and all the English teachers for organizing the Fest.

STUDENTS REPORT OF ENGLISH FEST

Today we celebrate English fest in our school .The function started at 10.30 am. Our school manager Mr.E.k .Mohanan inaugurate the fest. Headmistress Mrs.P.K. Jayaprabha teacher, PTA president Mr. Shibu.R ,Spoken English sir Mr. Jos , senior teacher Mr. Asokan master were done wonderful speeches. It was the very interesting matter that all the respected personalities talked in English. There are so many attractive programmes in this English fest like skits, event, English songs ,choreography etc. Every class presented various programmes. All the students did their presentation very well. This Fest really helps to improve our English language. I hope that this function was a good experience to all our friends.

The most interesting fact was all students use English on these days.
