Sudirman No. 86 Jakarta Topic: Securing Mobile Devices Using COBIT 5 for Information Security Today, the proliferation of mobile devices has expanded the security perimeter of all enterprises, which has changed existing risks, threats and vulnerabilities, as well as introduced new ones. In response to this challenge, ISACA has released another publication in the COBIT 5 product family Securing Mobile Devices Using COBIT 5 for Information Security. This publication is intended for several audiences which directly or indirectly use mobile devices, including IT managers, information security managers, IT administrators, service

providers, end users and IT auditors. The main purpose of applying COBIT 5 to the security of mobile devices is to establish a uniform management framework, and to provide guidance on planning implementing and maintaining security for mobile devices in these enterprises. In addition,

another purpose is to provide guidance on how to embed

security of mobile devices into the governance, risk and compliance (GRC) strategy / framework of these enterprises. Speaker: Sarwono Sutikno, Dr. Eng., CISA, CISM, CISSP Sarwono is an Associate Professor at Sekolah Teknik Elektro dan Informatika, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). Since 2007, he has also been ISACA Indonesias Academic Advocate, and is an ISACA certified trainer for COBIT 5. Recently, he was awarded the (ISC)2 Asia Pacific Information Security Leadership Achievement for 2011 senior information security professional category. Finally, he is a member of the KemKominfos technical committee on information technology governance. Language: Indonesian
