1. STAY-STITCH front and back neck edges . Stitch front to back at shoulder seams.

2. Stitch shoulder seams of lining sections. Press under 5/8 (1.5cm) on lower edge of front and back lining sections, trim to 1/4 (6mm). With RIGHT sides together, pin lining to bodice, matching centers and shoulder seams. Stitch neck and armhole edges. Trim seams; clip curves.

3. Turn lining to INSIDE by pulling each back through shoulders; press. Open out bodice and lining at side edges. Stitch lining and bodice in one continuous seam, matching armhole seams. Turn lining to INSIDE; press.

4. Stitch center back seam of skirt back sections to notch. Backstitch at notch to reinforce. Clip to stitching at notch. Stitch front to back at side seams. Prepare lining same as for skirt.

5. With WRONG sides together, pin lining to skirt, matching centers and side seams, having upper edges even. Bring center back edges of skirt and lining together above clip. Baste raw edges together.

6. With RIGHT sides together pin skirt to bodice at waistline seam, matching centers and side seams. Baste. Stitch seam, being careful not to catch in pressed edge of bodice lining. Trim seam. Press seam toward bodice. Slip-stitch pressed edge of bodice lining over seam.
