PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Burlington Public Schools Academic Technology 2011 Present

Designed, deployed and implemented a 1:1 iPad program at Burlington High School and Marshall Simonds Middle School. Designed and integrated curriculum to meet the needs of the 21st century learner by incorporating the iPad as well as new and emerging web 2.0 tools such as Google Apps for Education, iPad Applications, Edmodo, Wikispaces, Twitter, and Facebook. Constructed a digital and information literacy course to teach students to manage and empower their web presence effectively. Organized a district professional development conference for over 500 faculty and staff members in 2011 and 2012 Organized the New England 1:1 Summit that brought vendors such as Google, Apple, SOPHOS and JAMF to our school for a conference that brought in over 300 teachers, IT Administrators, and Superintendents. Designed and taught a variety of professional development sessions on Google Apps for Education, Numerous iPad applications, the iPad, and ISTE standards for education technology. Presented professional development to over forty Massachusetts Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, and Principals. Designed and organized the Massachusetts Digital Publication Collaborative in 2011 and 2012 for over 400 administrators, teachers, and IT professionals. This event also featured MA Commissioner of Education, Mitchell Chester as a keynote speaker. Designed and organized hybrid learning course in computer science taught by Google engineers in Cambridge and myself. Designed and wrote the curriculum scope and sequence for the Burlington High School student technology integration course.
