REASONS FOR HAVING A GOOD POLICY
 A good policy makes it easier to enforce safe practices
and conditions
 It makes it easier for supervisors to implement company

and instructions
 It makes it easier to obtain good preventive maintenance
of equipment or selection of proper equipment when
purchased
