It is now more than ten months since violence began in Arakan, Burma. The violence can no longer be described as simply communal. It has become
systematic POGROM targeting the Rohingya and Kaman ethnic minority fHuman Rights Watch reported on 70th September 20121. Daily life of Rohingya and Kaman in Arakan is getting worse, unspeakable and dire [Valerie Amos of UN's Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief reported on Sth December 20121.
With an effort Rohingyas are fleeing various persecutions in Arakan to save their life by taking incredible risk through the sea where many of them are dying sinking of boats, starving to death on boats due to lack of food and no medicine [Vivian Tan, spokeswoman for TJNHCR reported on 8th March 2013].

The BRCNL is concerned by the ongoing attacks and various persecutions Rohingyas facing daily in Arakan, Burma; notes that police, state security and
national Burmese Army soldiers are taking part in some of the attacks; is further very much worried by President Thein Sein's request for international assistance in deporting all Rohingya from Burma which gives encouragement to Rakhine mobs carrying out the attacks, his indication on his European trip that his Government does not intend to revise the 1982 Citizenship Law and his government's restrictions on the international assistance to Internally Displaced Persons[IDPs] [Lotte Leicht, El,J director at Human Rights Watch repofted on 4th March 2013].
