Upload pictures of yourself smiling and having fun! The psychology is if you are happy you can make others happy. Love is all about
having shared experiences, and if you can't have shared experiences with someone you can't love them. Try talking about things you like to do, ie skiing, hiking, reading, music, interests, passions etc.

About Me
~About Me~ I'm a 1-day-old wild-type female "dark-bellied dew lover" looking to settle down and start a family and career in research. I'm a petite 2.2 mm with crimson eyes and daffodil skin lined in ebony rings. I'm down-to-earth and easy to care for lady who requires very little space to start a very large family! I have a high fecundity (my mother laid 100 eggs/day) and I am capable of brooding a full new generation in as little as 10 days. I hope to produce well over 1,000 eggs during this period of time. I am looking for a smooth tapping and dancing male to start this family with, as well as a scientist to collaborate with. ~Family History~ My great (to the nth degree) grandparents were participants in Thomas Hunt Morgan's heredity studies in 1910. Since then we have

been heavily involved in research in genetics, physiology and evolution. Many genetic markers run in my large and diverse family that could potentially be studied in my children and grandchildren since humans live such extraordinarily long lives. Our genome was fully sequenced in 2000 (139.5 million base pairs) so information about your species can be drawn from comparisons between genomes! ~What I Can Provide As A Mother~ Aside from my physical qualities, I will be a good provider to my progeny. Like my mother before me, I will fully stock my eggs with lipoprotein yolk spheres, complete with vitellin to provide nourishment to the developing zygote/embryo. These, along with lipid droplets, will be used to produce energy in the many mitochondria I also provide for my young. All of this energy will be used by the eggs ribosomes to assemble proteins for growth. This will be greatly enhanced by my greatest gift of all: large amounts of mRNA. This will allow the zygotes to begin protein synthesis and development immediately. Needless to say, I know theyll grow up so quickly thanks to my gifts, even if they're draining to give! ~Research I'm Interested In~ Once my offspring are officially into their larval stage, there are numerous ways you can study them. One special feature we have is a series of 8 structures called imaginal discs. These are made up of highly determined cells, which means that they are not influenced by polarity or environmental factors, unlike indeterminate cells. These imaginal discs will become what they are programmed to become (lip, mouth parts, antennae, eyes, legs, wings, rudimentary wings, or genitals) while indeterminate cells could become any other part of the body! Im told that theyre a lot like human stem cells. Imaginal discs are programmed by a short series of collinear genes called HOX genes. These genes appear on one chromosome in the order in which the adult will express them (anterior to posterior). The only way to stop discs from becoming the assigned structure is to manipulate these HOX genes. Even cutting out a small portion of these cells and transplanting them will not stop them from growing what they are programmed for! This is helpful later in life if we get injured as the discs can regenerate the damaged body part. This would be a super exciting area to research, and I'd be ecstatic to find someone working on this!

First Date
My perfect first date would be in a warm environment dining on rotting fruit. Bananas are my favorite! I'm looking for a male that plays a beautiful courtship song while we dance and tap. I am going to have his 1,000 babies so I'm not willing to invest in just any male! Life is short (30 days) so I'm looking to meet a partner soon.
