II.A Generation Knew Not God

Judges begin after the Death of Joshua1.Read Judges 1:7; 10.2.Madison church of ChristB.Israel was faithful all of the years of Joshua.1.Israel was to occupy the land and drive out the native people

They did not completely obey;Exo_23:32-33;Exo_34:12-13;Exo_34:15- 16;Exo_34:13;Deu_7:2-3;Deu_7:5;

They were to make No Covenant with other people

Completely drive out the people5.Destroy all of their altars

Absolutely no intermarriage;Deuteronomy 7:4 ESVfor they would turnaway your sons from following me, to serve other gods. Then the anger ofthe LORD would be kindled against you, and he would destroy you quickly.

Why doesn't man just listen to God.

Bribe a kid with a reward, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
