1. Read 1 Corinthians 10:23-33

Background: Paul encourages his readers to seek the good of others before their own wants and needs. He
then gives an example (going back to the topic of meat sacrificed to idols)…if you are eating meat and find
out it’s been sacrificed to an idol, you shouldn’t eat it. Not because you’re sinning by eating the meat, but
because your neighbor might sin by seeing you eat the meat. Everything we do should be with Jesus in
mind. All things are to be done for God’s glory. We should try to please others as much as possible, not
because we’re ‘push-overs’ as Christians, but so that they may see Jesus in and through us.

2. What does it mean to “do it all for the glory of God”?

3. Read 1 Corinthians 10:31 and complete the following….

Review the previous day and list everything you did. Out of everything
you did, what did you do for the glory of God?

List what activities or things you’ll do tomorrow. How can you make sure
that these things are for God’s glory?
