The world leader in building materials Lafarge of France and renowned Spanish cement manufacturer Cementos Molins have jointly set up a state-of-the-art integrated cement plant at Chhatak, Sunamganj. With raw materials sourced from its own Quarry in Meghalaya, India and transported to the cement plant by a 17 km long belt conveyor, this unique dry process plant is manufacturing renowned brand SUPERCRETE. We require the following professionals to fill out vacant positions:

DEPARTMENT: PLANT MAINTANANCE

Junior Engineer Electrical Maintenance: This position will be based at plant and will be a member of the Plant Electrical team. The Incumbent will be responsible for day to day electric maintenance & preventive maintenance of all electrical equipment in the plant. Requirements: Diploma in Electrical Engineering. Minimum 3 years of experience in any heavy industry. Safety and Basic Computer Knowledge. Junior Engineer Mechanical Maintenance: The incumbent will be based at plant and will be a member of the Plant Maintenance team for all aspects of maintenance of electrical control system. Requirements: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Mechanical Maintenance system of cement/process plant. Safety and Basic Computer Knowledge.

DEPARTMENT: QUALITY ASSURANCE

Chemist: The position will be based at Chattak, Sunamgong/ Islampur, Meghna Ghat and will be a member of Quality Assurance Team. S/he will lead a quality team and work with cross functional team to manage day to day quality control program. S/he will be responsible to take all the appropriate actions and precautions in the sampling, sample preparation & analysis to ensure that end product is in compliance with Lafarge product specification and local regulatory standards; will follow established sampling and test procedures for trouble shooting of process inefficiencies through evaluation of process samples and their parameters. Requirement: Masters in chemistry (preferable inorganic / physical/ industrial chemistry) with at least 6 years experience in cement plant. Experience to lead a team and working with cross functional team. Should have in-depth knowledge on chemical and physical analysis with conventional and instrumental method (preferable by XRF ) Good knowledge of the relevant physico-chemical parameters of product and standards applicable to cement manufacturing. Good knowledge of statistical process control methods. Knowledge on computer operating. Sound knowledge on industrial safety. Quality Analyst: The incumbent will be based at Chattak, Sunamgong/ Islampur, Meghna Ghat and will be a member of Quality Assurance Team. S/he will be responsible to collect representative samples of specified materials at appropriate time intervals, sample preparation and analysis as per quality control plan. S/He will inspect and maintain health condition and safety of Laboratory and lab Equipment/Instrument to ensure desired analytical performance as per Lafarge standard (LQTS). Requirement: B.Sc. in chemistry with 5-7 years experience in cement plant / M.Sc. in chemistry with 1-3 years experience in cement industry. Should have in-depth knowledge on chemical, physical and mechanical analysis with conventional and instrumental method. Knowledge on computer operating. Sound knowledge on industrial safety.

DEPARTMENT: LOGISTICS HEAD OFFICE

Executive Logistics: The incumbent will be based at Head Office, Dhaka and will be a member of Logistics Team. S/He will be responsible for transports planning and scheduling for primary and secondary transportation in line with operational plan. S/He will ensure availability of transports and manage contracts with supplier to serve entire distribution network and also source the transporters for the same. Ensure proper execution of transports planning and on-time arrival of vehicles at daily basis on sites so that

Develop relationship with transport market and collect market intelligence to evaluate LSC freight data and analyze freight data and route basis volume (delivered and FOT) and drive cost optimization. Requirement: Graduation from any reputed university. Minimum 2-3 years experience in logistics. Experience in handling transport management will be given special preference. Knowledge on transport market and distribution. Customer oriented. Capability to work in a team. Strong interpersonal skills. Good with MS-Office suite. Knowledge of safety.

DEPARTMENT: ADMIN HEAD OFFICE

Front Desk Officer (Contractual): This position will be based at Head Office, Dhaka, and will report to Executive - Admin. The incumbent will be responsible for providing secretarial, clerical and administrative support to ensure front desk services with highest level of efficiency and quality. S/he will be responsible for receiving and directing telephone messages from different stakeholders, receive guests who'll come to visit, register courier, give entry of invoices, and be the face of the company. Requirement: Graduation from any known university. English proficiency is must. Effective verbal and listening skills. Preference will be given to the person from English medium background. Having 2- 3 years experience in similar job will be an added advantage. Basic Computer knowledge.

DEPARTMENT: MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE - PLANT

Engineer Mechanical Maintenance: The incumbent will be based at Plant site at Chattak and report to the Mechanical Maintenance Manager. S/he will be responsible for maintaining and running LBC (Long Belt Conveyer) in an uninterrupted manner to ensure smooth operation; maintain zero interruption in LBC operation and eliminate dust emission to an acceptable limit also need to carry out maintenance activities as per defined schedules and procedures. Requirements: B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from any reputed local or foreign University. 3-4 years experience in operations and maintenance of Heavy industrial machines and equipments. Engineers having experience of operations and maintenance of Long Conveyor Belt of Cement industry, food industry, big food silo and large chemical plant of Bangladesh & Foreign countries are encouraged to apply.
