Gorgeous Geek Chapter XXIII: Cherish Her

Chapter XXIII: Cherish Her

"I want to see Kristian!" Tiffany raised her eyes from the Winnie the Pooh charm that Jin gave her a few birthdays ago at her best friend Julie who was pouting and staring at the number on her cell phone. The other two girls went off to buy lunch while Tiffany and Julie stayed behind. According to Julie, Kristian was supposed to come and talk to her. The two had been going out for about a week. "He probably has club activities," said Tiffany reasonably. "Did you tell him ahead of time that you'll be seeing him during lunch today?" "We don't need to speak to each other to convey our feelings," said Julie in a mesmerized state. Tiffany lifted a brow. "You guys haven't gone out that long." "But he completely understands how I feel!" "Really," said Tiffany, feeling more and more suspicious. "It seems like to me he wants you to believe that he knows how you feel. You are probably reacting to his words." "Why are you always so cold toward Kristian?" asked Julie, upset now. "I am not," said Tiffany, sighing and shaking her head. "I don't like him." "Why don't you like him then? asked Julie in a demand, angry. "He's so sweet." "Nice is Jin, not Kristian," said Tiffany, shrugging. Julie growled and wrapped her arms in front of her chest. "You like Jin so of course you say that!" "Believe me, Julie," said Tiffany in a calm voice. "Kristian knows exactly what to say to get him to like him. He is probably a player back in junior high. Who knows? I don't trust him. He seems too perfect." "Because he is," said Julie defensively. "He's a sweet talker. He is athletic, smart, and charismatic. Best, he treats me really well. He would call me every day. He would wait for me after sixth period everyday. Sometimes, he would even spoon-feed me. He does everything for me and he always tells me I look lovely. It's hard to find someone like that. You should be more supportive of our relationship Tiffany!" "There is something wrong with this relationship," said Tiffany, losing her temper slightly. "I can feel it. I'm your best friend for over a year. You should trust me over someone you just met a month ago." "I don't want you to talk bad things about Kristian!" "Julie..." Standing up, Julie walked down the stairs, nearly falling down. Tiffany frowned after her. "I can't live without Kristian. I really love you. You shouldn't be jealous of us."

"Jealous?" cried Tiffany, clearly upset now. "Yes," said Julie, turning around and narrowing her eyes dangerously. "You don't have a boyfriend because you keep waiting on Jin! You are jealous I am in a perfect relationship!" "Look at us, Julie," said Tiffany, shaking slightly. "He turned us against each other." "He did not," said Julie, shaking too. "You started it! I'm going to go see him now!" Passing by Helen and Karen, Julie was in tears. She never intended to fight with Tiffany like that. However, she wanted to defend Kristian. Helen and Karen watched her disappear inside the girls' restroom. Surrounding Tiffany, they asked her what happened to Julie. Tiffany didn't say anything and dropped her head on top of the black binder. She stared at her cell phone charm. Was it bad to be in an unrequited love? To Tiffany, it was a bittersweet feeling she wanted to hold onto as long as possible. When the warning bell rang during lunch, Rin grumbled at the heavy books she had to carry for school today. This year, they were late in allowing students to get locker. On her way to class, someone stole her pile of books and smirked at her. Rin glanced away, ignoring Kristian completely. "No hello? How cold." "I am trying to tell myself that I don't really have four classes with you," said Rin, grumbling. "What can I do?" asked Kristian, shrugging. "It's fate." "Screw fate," said Rin, scowling. "Give me back my books Kristian Shiratori!" "Since we're in fifth period together and I don't bring my textbooks to school anyway," said Kristian, licking his lips. "I'll be a helpful member of society by helping my fellow Japanese with her books." "Thanks but no thanks," said Rin, grabbing one book from him. "I don't need help from dirt like you." "Dirt?" asked Kristian, chuckling. "I'm honored Rin. Dirt is helpful to the world. You won't be able to survive without dirt since plants need dirt to grow and give us oxygen. In other words," Kristian gasped and leaned down toward her. "Are you saying you can't survive without me? How sweet Rin." "Shut up Kristian!" "Did you know 'shut up' is only for those who have nothing to say?" asked Kristian, glancing over his shoulder at the amount of students that refused to budge despite the bell. Rin was fuming every second he was with her. "Does that mean I won this round again?" "You know what," said Rin, hitting him against the arm with the book. "Go away!" "Only weak-willed people use violence to solve problems," said Kristian in a sing-sang voice. "Do you always have a respond for everything I say?" asked Rin, stopping and tiptoeing up at him. "That would imply that you're special to me," said Kristian, thinking. "Are you special to me Rin? What are you implying? I already have a girlfriend!" "I was implying that you should shut up," said Rin through gritted teeth.

"If you don't want someone to talk to you, maybe you should be quiet first." "Kristian!" "Kristian, I found you," said Julie, running over and clinging onto Kristian's arm. Kristian smiled brightly at her as she snuggled herself against his side. "I know class is about to start but I want to see you before then." "Do you miss me that much?" asked Kristian, flattered. He held her head up. "Then, I should give you a-" "Stupid Kristian," said Rin, walking so fast away that Kristian didn't have time to say anything. "What is her problem?" asked Julie, staring after Rin as she vanished inside the building. "And why are you carrying her books? I know you don't bring your own." "Oh you mean Rin?" asked Kristian, indicating at the same building. "She's in four of my classes. We get along really well. She's so stubborn that it's cute. I pick on her now and again. I don't know why she went off without her books like that, but she'll come crawling back for them back later." "I'm so jealous," said Julie, pouting. "I'll love to be in just one of your classes!" "It's okay," said Kristian, hugging her to him as they walked to his class. "The longer we're apart the more we miss and want each other right?" Julie nodded happily and placed her head on his arm. ****************************************************** "Finally, you're here," said Rin, placing her hands on her hips. Kristian blinked at her from the other side of the open front door. Jezebelle cursed about something and bumped past the two. "What took you so long? The food has been sitting there for ten whole minutes!" "I just came back and you're already mad at me," said Kristian, frowning. "I didn't even do anything yet." "You're slow, that's why," said Rin, glancing away. Suddenly, Kristian realized the situation and laughed. "Have you been waiting for me, Rinchan?" "No, definitely not!" "Your usual response of denial," said Kristian, walking into the house and placing his arm down on Rin's shoulders. "I miss you too. You want a kiss?" "No," said Rin, flushing and backing away. "Rin," said Vance, panting at the front door. Rin and Kristian eyed him in amazement. Vance caught his breath. "Are you all right?" "Why wouldn't I be?" asked Rin, glancing at Kristian who shrugged. "Bo called me and said you were unconscious," said Vance, uncertain at the information. "Unconscious?" asked Rin and Kristian in unison. "Did I say that?" asked Bo, chuckling and coming from the kitchen with one huge, innocent grin. "When I said unconscious Vance, I mean Rin fell asleep in my room earlier. Sorry if I misled you but do stay for dinner."

"Whatever," said Vance, turning around. "Bye then." "Wait, Vance," said Rin, holding onto his arm. Kristian stared jealously. "Since you came all the way here, you should stay for dinner. I cooked more than enough for everyone!" Vance stared at her blankly. "No thank you." "Please Vance?" asked Rin, pouting. "I need lots of opinion on my cooking." "This is dumb," said Vance, entering the house anyways. "I won't stay long." Rin beamed. "Thanks Vance!" "Besides," said Vance, coming up to Bo. "I need to talk to you." "I'm in trouble," said Bo with a grin as the two went off together. The minute they were gone Kristian went up to Rin and tapped her on the shoulder. Quickly, she turned around and almost hit him right into his chest with her head. This was the first time she realized the height difference between her and Kristian. It had always been like this since freshman year but this was the first time she noticed it so seriously. "Stop treating Vance better than me," said Kristian in a pretend baby voice. "I'm going to get jealous." "That's because you get on my nerves and he doesn't," said Rin, sticking her tongue back at him. "I see," said Kristian, amused. Then, he smirked brilliantly. "So, you want me to be the complete opposite?" "The opposite?" Licking his lips, Kristian elaborated on his answer, "I'll stop talking to you. I'll stop bothering you so much. I can be a real cold bastard if I want to. Would you like that instead, Rin-chan?" "No, not at all," said Rin shyly. Kristian placed his hand on her head. "The food's getting cold. Let's go then." "I know I always say mean things to you," said Rin, not moving from her spot. Kristian stopped his walk ahead of her and turned around. "But I rarely mean them." Rin felt her heart pounding. "So I don't want you to ignore me. I've already lost someone... two people actually... so please, don't try that. It's not funny." Surprised at her sad yet sincere voice, Kristian went back to her and grabbed her arm. "I was joking when I said that. Come on now, Rin-chan. I want to try your cooking." "All right," said Rin, forcing a smile. At the dining table, Jezebelle sat in the seat farthest to the right. Vance sat in the seat farthest to the left. Bo and Kristian sat across from each other. Eun sat next to Bo while Rin sat next to Kristian. However, right now, Rin was serving everyone a bowl. Jezebelle leaned forward toward her bowl and made a face. "What is the fuck is this?" asked Jezebelle, lifting a brow. "Nikujaga," said Kristian automatically, picking up his pair of chopsticks. "I don't speak Japanese," said Jezebelle in a snarl.

"Meat and potato stew," said Rin happily, tossing Jezebelle a bright smile. "I didn't put a lot of beef in your bowl since you don't eat a lot of meat, Fi-Fi. I hear from Jin that you like potatoes no?" "How the fuck does he know that?" asked Jezebelle under her breath, not amused. "You like rice, Fi?" asked Bo, pointing at the bowl of rice next to her. Everyone had one. "I'm part Asian," said Jezebelle through gritted teeth. "What do you think?" "I hear rice has a lot of calories," said Kristian, smirking. "Who said I'll eat it?" asked Jezebelle in disbelief. "Jin's girlfriend is the same as always," said Eun sweetly at Jezebelle, who flicked her hair away and wrapped her arms in front of her chest. She picked up her chopsticks as well. "No one tell my parents we're eating Japanese food in this household okay? We'll all get in trouble for it." Sitting down now, Rin beamed. "Let's have a nice dinner together!" "She's unexpectedly happy," said Vance softly to Kristian. "It's because you're here Vance," said Kristian, licking his lips. Vance shrugged. "I'm sure." Bo grinned at Vance, still mentally apologizing for tricking him. "Hey Kristian. What did you do at the police station with Fi?" "Nothing," said Kristian, shrugging. Rin tossed him a suspicious look. "It was bull," said Jezebelle, playing with her hair. "He never showed up." "Who is he?" asked Rin, trying hard not to sound too interested. "Let's eat," said Kristian brightly, cutting Rin off. The first one to try Rin's food was Kristian of course. He had to since Rin was staring at him like he was a judge about to make a sentence on her life. Kristian easily took a bite of her food and paused, trying to think of what to say. Across from him, Bo had to hold himself back from laughing out loud. The expression on Kristian's face was obvious but somehow, Rin was so anxious she didn't notice. "It's delicious," said Kristian, breathless. "Really?" asked Rin, excited. "Yeah," said Kristian weakly, taking another bite. "You have real cooking skills Rin-chan." "Thank goodness," said Rin, releasing a breath. "This is my second time cooking so I was worried I mess up somehow but I'm so happy you like it!" "How about you try it now Bo?" asked Kristian, smiling evilly at Bo. "With pleasure," said Bo, grabbing for the nearest container of chili. Kristian and everyone else watched in awe as he dumped the entire container of chili into his stew. Then, he ate the stew. "Delicious like always Hamada-sama! I love it!" "Rin-chan," said Rin through gritted teeth. "Perfect cooking like always, Rin-chan," said Bo, correcting himself with a grin.

"Something definitely happen between them," said Kristian to Jezebelle. "You think?" asked Jezebelle, looking at the stew like it was made of a million calories. "Bo," said Kristian, glaring at Bo now. "You know that wasn't fair." "What isn't fair?" asked Bo innocently, eating the stew quickly. "Do you usually put that much chili in your food?" asked Kristian suspiciously. "Yes," said Bo, Rin, and Eun in unison. Kristian narrowed his eyes at Bo. "Cheater." "The chili only enhances the stew," said Bo, grinning broadly. With two people down, Rin asked Vance and Eun what they thought of the stew. Eun smiled weakly and said that she liked the taste very much. While Rin wasn't watching, Eun took gulps and gulps of water. The huge surprise was actually Vance's response. "It's very salty," said Vance, blinking. Rin lowered her eyes sadly. "I like it." True to his word, Vance couldn't stop eating the stew with Kristian, Bo, and Eun staring at him like he was crazy. Vance really did genuinely like the taste of the overly salty meat and potato stew. In reality, this dish was supposed to be sweet. The only person left who refused to eat was Jezebelle. "Never!" screamed Jezebelle, backing away from the bowl. "I want to live thank you!" "One bit won't hurt you, Fi," said Bo, grinning brightly. "You have to try it too, Tilly," said Kristian, smiling wickedly. "You should eat something, Jin's girlfriend," said Eun after drinking down another cup of water. Jezebelle glared at them all and stood up firmly. "I'm leaving!" "Eat it Tilly or else I'll call Jin," said Kristian, holding up his cell phone. "Remember?" Glaring dangerously at Kristian especially, Jezebelle sat back down and pulled the bowl closer to her. Staring at the bowl for a few seconds, Jezebelle finally picked up a spoon and tried the stew. Suddenly, her face changed a different color. Rin and the others watched in awe as she grabbed a napkin and spitted into it without restraining herself. Everyone else continued to follow her every movement as she threw the napkin down on the table. "What the fuck is this? Are you trying to kill me? You stupid Japanese! I fucking hate you all! You guys are all the same with your nasty sushi and salty stew!" Angry, Rin pushed herself up in a standing position. Jezebelle huffed and crossed her legs, not caring. Much to everyone's surprise, Rin did not rush up to Jezebelle to scream at her. Instead, Rin started hitting Kristian with her hands. Bo grinned at this. Vance started on his second bowl. Eun snuck out of the room. Jezebelle simply went over to Vance and gave him her bowl but kept her attention on the Japanese duo. "Why did you hit me?" asked Kristian, standing up now. "Because you lied to me!" "As if," said Kristian, flicking his hand to Jezebelle. "She has weird tastes that's all! And how do you know she's not the one lying to you!"

"She doesn't lie to make others feel better!" "That's true," said Bo and Vance in unison. Jezebelle glanced at them. "Why am I here?" "So, it's wrong for me to lie to make you feel better?" asked Kristian in disbelief. "Yes," said Rin, placing her hands on her hips. "Okay then," said Kristian, fed up. "Once you grow up and get pregnant, I won't lie to you about looking pretty!" "Why would I get pregnant and why would you be there?" asked Rin, furious. "It's not like we're going to get married and have kids!" "I wouldn't want to marry you anyway!" "Same here!" "You're probably not good in bed anyway!" Rin flushed bright red. "Kristian! I dare you to repeat that!" "Forget it," said Kristian, placing the chopsticks back down. "You're impossible." Passing by Jezebelle, Kristian left the kitchen and the house without another word. Jezebelle stared after him for a few seconds before she realized something and chased after him, demanding that he returned her teddy bear in his car first. Vance just finished his food and stared up to see how the situation was now. In front of him, Rin was crouching on the ground and crying against her knee with Bo by her side. "I knew I shouldn't have turned my ears off," said Vance, staring at Rin and Bo. "How the fuck do you do that?" asked Jezebelle in disbelief. She returned without her teddy bear. "I automatically do that to ignore nonsense around me," said Vance. "It's sort of a skill I learn over the years. What happen around here?" "Shiratori just drove away," said Jezebelle through gritted teeth. "With my Jezebelle jr." Vance sighed and stood up. "I'll clean up the table then." While Vance did exactly that, Jezebelle left the room in a hurry. As for Rin, she continued to cry and bury her head into her knees. Bo was by her side to comfort her, not knowing what to say. The longer this went on though the more worried he became so he had to try something. "Hamada-sama..." "Rin-chan," said Rin in a soft whisper. "Rin-chan," said Bo, rubbing her head. "Come now. If you have to cry, at least do so on the sofa." At his words, Rin shook her head. "I don't want to move." Sighing, Bo lifted her up easily. Vance watched Bo with a frown after he dumped most of the empty bowl into the sink. Grinning in reassurance at Vance, Bo carried Rin out of the kitchen and to the sofa in the living room. The room was made up of dark red furniture from

the sofa to the drapes. Jezebelle was there, watching television. Bo was about to leave when Rin shook her head. Carefully, Bo placed Rin next to Jezebelle. "You wouldn't know what to say to a heartbroken girl, would you Fi?" asked Bo in an almost joking manner. "Why don't you, Giant?" asked Jezebelle, rolling her eyes. "I never told you this but I know why my last girlfriend broke up with me," said Bo softly. Jezebelle lifted a brow. "You mean crybaby Joyce Bautista?" "The very girl." "What about your break up anyway? And why does it concern me?" Rubbing Rin on the head again, Bo continued in a low tone, "Her brother passed away. She would go for me for emotional support. Whenever she was with me, I did not know what to do. I just stood there and grinned. Once, she slapped me for grinning. She thought I was making fun of her brother's death." "You should never smile around a sad girl," said Jezebelle, rolling her eyes again. "I learn that now," said Bo quickly. He continued to grin though. "But this is who I am. I believe that if we all smile a bit more, all those sad feelings will go away." Bo paused and lowered his eyes on the ground. The grin vanished. "I'm not like Kristian. I don't know what to say to make girls feel better. I'm not like Jin either. I don't know when to be quiet or not. I am hopeless. I can't help Hamada-sama... Rin-chan... in that department." Bo walked away. "I can only protect her physically. I can crush rocks with my bare hands. That is all I can do." Jezebelle scowled at what Bo just told her. Looking down, Jezebelle noticed that Rin somehow buried her wet face against Jezebelle's side. The first thought that came to Jezebelle's mind was that Rin was messing up her shirt. the second thought that came to Jezebelle's mind was that Jin had to deal with this often. For a split of a second, Jezebelle thought of how emotionally unstable Rin must be without Jin. However, Jezebelle dismissed these thoughts and simply shook Rin. "Stop crying," said Jezebelle cruelly. Rin refused to move her head from Jezebelle. "What the fuck is the matter with you? You cried because of that? Are you shitting me?" Rin didn't answer. "Oh my fucking God. This is your first relationship isn't it?" Jezebelle scowled. "Man, was I this weak with my first boyfriend? Jesus fucking Christ." "I..." "Now she talks," said Jezebelle, irked. "I shouldn't have said those things..." said Rin, sobbing. Biting her lip, Jezebelle turned off the television. Then, she removed Rin from her side and growled, "Wipe your eyes right now little girl! I have a lot of things to say to you and I'm not a patient person! If you cry one more time, I won't help make things better between you and Shiratori!" Rin blinked against the tears. "Are you... being nice?" "Shit," said Jezebelle, standing up and stomping her foot. "I am not nice! You know what? I don't give a shit. You cry by yourself and see if anything gets done!" Right when Jezebelle

moved away, Rin grabbed a hold of her skirt. "Will you fucking shut up and listen to me then, Shortie?" Rin nodded weakly. "Yes..." ****************************************** Inside a white house, Jin and David followed Wendy to her father's office where she kept records of people they arrested in a day. Jin and David couldn't help but notice how spotless her house was despite her appearance. According to Wendy, no one was home right now but her and her dog. The dog was kept in the backyard so the two heard it without seeing it. While Wendy sat down in front of her father's computer, the other two stared at the photograph of her father as a police officer. "Man, there haven't been any reports of Jezebelle being taken in by the police," said Wendy, sitting back in her comfortable black chair and placing her legs on top of the table. "Dad's a perfectionist so he would write down anyone who has been taken in immediaetly." "I'm so glad we came to you instead of rushing to the police station," said Jin with a pleasant smile. "I told you Jin," said David, proud of himself. "We think more logically when we're calm!" "I'm scared sometimes," said Wendy admittedly, glancing at the two. "It seems like everyone in this school know where each other live. Why is that?" "Unlike other schools, we have the Asian Gossip Girls," said David with a firm nod. "They have information on everybody, including their addresses." "Tiffany is the leader and she is also my neighbor," said Jin in explanation. "So I get information easily." "Shit," said Wendy, widening her eyes. "Scary connections this school has." "Seriously," said David, shaking his head. "That's how Sid and Eugene were able to hide in my room and scare the shit out of me last year." At those words, Wendy burst out laughing, holding onto her stomach as usual. "Oh man! Priceless!" "Your friends sound fun," said Jin, not sure if he meant it or not. "Worst, they found out Yvette's my neighbor so they wouldn't stop teasing me about it," said David, groaning. "I tried so hard to keep it a secret too." "Why would you do something like that?" asked Wendy, dropping her jaw. "Wendy Wilshire right?" asked David, making sure. "That's me," said Wendy, glancing up at David innocently. "What's up yo?" "Nothing just," said David, laughing uneasily. "I don't want to talk about Yvette right now so let's not talk about her." Wendy gawked at him. "But you're the one who brought-" "So Fi hasn't been taken in by the police?" asked Jin anxiously, saving David in time. "Not according to Dad's computer," said Wendy, sighing. "Jin Song, I've lost all respect for you, you know that?" Jin shook his head, wide-eyed. "I can't believe you're in the same group as him and those superficial girls..."

"Oh," said Jin, frowning. "Right, you and Jordan are not on good terms." "Hell no," said Wendy, frustrated. "Yeah," said David, realizing exactly who Wendy was now. "You're that girl in that miniskirt that start going out with Jordan on the first day of school! Holy cow!" Wendy scowled. "I don't want to talk about it." "I'm sorry," said Jin quietly. "That's all I can say to you right now Wendy. I wish I can explain to you exactly why I am in the Populars but I can't. I don't want to make excuses because I choose to join them out of free will. I will not back out of my choice." "Jin Song..." said Wendy, sighing. "At least, you can spy on them for our leader." "She thinks so too," said Jin, amused. "Though, it sounds underhanded." "I can't believe that Jezebelle is taken by the police," said Wendy, pouting. She placed her arms behind her neck and groaned. "Oh man! This sucks! What did she do anyway? Did she do weed or smoke pot?" "No," said Jin, stunned at the thought. "I was kidding Jesus," said Wendy, shaking her head. "She can't. Her skin is too perfect for that." "What should we do now Jin?" asked David worriedly. Jin frowned. "I'm not sure." "Tell me in detail," said Wendy, sitting up straight and staring at the two boys with a serious expression on her face. "What exactly happen to my Leader?" "You see..." said David awkwardly. "According to my cousin Shuijin, Fi has been taken by the Secret Services and-" "Wait one second!" cried Wendy, holding up her hand to stop Jin from continuing. "Did you say the 'Secret services'?" "Yes," said David and Jin in unison. "And you went here of all places? Are you two insane? She is probably on her way to Washington DC right now!" "No," said Jin, leaning on the table with his hands for support. "No!" "Shit... not good..." said David, thinking. "How am I supposed to chase after her to Washington DC and then come back before eleven?" asked Jin dramatically. "I don't want to worry Dad with my foolishness. I don't want to worry either of my parents. Dad must be so disappointed in me..." "Calm down, Jin Song," said Wendy, standing up and shaking Jin. "I have a solution." "What is it?" asked Jin in a hopeless voice. "There was a rumor running around last year that Kristian Shiratori's father is always away from home because he is part of the Secret Services," said Wendy in a solemn voice. Both David and Jin gaped at her. "I was so curious I researched more into it. His mother works for the US military and his father works for the Secret Services." "I get it," said Jin, anxious now. "Let's meet Kristian's father. He might be able to stop the

Secret Services from taking Fi to Washington DC!" "Off to Kristian's house then!" cried David, excited. "You go on ahead David," said Wendy, smiling suddenly at him. "I want to speak to Jin Song alone." "Make it quick then," said David, nodding. Waiting for David to leave the room, Wendy turned to Jin with a frown on her face now. Jin knew this was coming. Wendy and Jordan broke up recently and suddenly, he joined Jordan's group. It must have hurt Wendy more than he imagined it to be. The girl sat back down on her seat and lowered her eyes. "If Fi were not your father's boss's daughter," said Wendy in slow, tired voice. "Would you be this worried about her Jin Song?" Jin was surprised at the question. "Of course! Fi is my girlfriend after all!" Wendy smiled timidly. "Oh Christ. I wonder if she'll be happy to hear that." "I'm really sorry," said Jin again. "I'm sorry for joining Jordan's group and I'm sorry for losing your best friend due to my carelessness. It is all my fault." "I don't want to hear it Jin Song." "I'm sorry." Shaking her head, Wendy tried to laugh, "It's fine really. It's not your fault, Jin Song. Since you're in his group, there's something you need to know about Jordan." Jin widened his eyes at her words. "What's wrong with Jordan?" "I don't know if he told me this out to make me pity him or not but," said Wendy in a weak voice. She clasped her hands together. Her spiky bracelets clung together. "Jordan really hates his life." "That can't be true," said Jin, laughing. Wendy did not say anything. "You almost got me there Wendy." "Yeah," said Wendy, trying to smile. "Why would Jordan Greene hate his life right? I mean, he's so popular and so handsome and so sociable. He is now the team captain of both the tennis and basketball team. Everything is going right for him." "Exactly," said Jin, smiling. "Jordan would be the last one to hate his life. He's not emo." "Yeah, he's not." "I know you hate him," said Jin, continuing on. "And you probably hate Victoria too." "I hate her," said Wendy, growling. "She feels really regretful of what happen though," said Jin with a frown. "Maybe you should forgive her. She is currently living with a guilty conscience." "Let her," said Wendy cruelly. "It's her fault I'm like this." "You shouldn't be so-" "Why do you only care about her?" asked Wendy, heartbroken. Jin dropped his head. "What about me? I'm supposed to be the victim here! I know she's nicer, sweeter, and prettier than me so boys always prefer her."

"That's not true," said Jin defensively. "I can't forgive either of them," said Wendy, shaking. "I can't forgive you either. Only Jezebelle cares about me and that is why," Wendy held onto Jin's arm firmly. "Take me with you to see Kristian's father!" "Let's go, Wendy," said Jin, approving of her choice. The two left the room without turning off the computer. ************************************* In the past, Rin admitted that she had been hard on Jezebelle. In high school, Rin learned that most people are hypocrites, idiotic, indecent, selfish, and many other terrible attributes. Her expectations of high school students had been on the very bottom for a long time. When she first met Jezebelle, a lot of things ran through her mind. Jezebelle was everything she perceived to be a bitch and a slut combined. She was one of those girls Rin would never associate with, nevertheless became friends with. However, when Jezebelle came to her rescue at the mall and showed her a different side she had never seen before, Rin had changed her mind about her. "Crying never does anyone any good," said Jezebelle, rolling her eyes. Rin hugged herself and watched Jezebelle with red eyes. "Though, it does tell you about how you feel about Shiratori I suppose." "Yeah..." "Listen," said Jezebelle in a tired voice. "You shouldn't be so upset over this relationship between you and Shiratori since well," Jezebelle shrugged. "There's nothing really wrong with it in the first place. Couples fight all the time and you two are just really stubborn dumb asses who can't take the heat." "I see..." Jezebelle glanced at Rin's weak face. "Shit. I haven't been here for more than a week and I can tell that you like him, stupid Shortie. Freaking girls in denial nowadays." "Actually," said Rin, wiping the wet tears on her face. "I've come to terms with my feelings." "You didn't want to leave Giant waiting?" Rin lifted her eyes. "Why do you know everything?" "For someone who is supposedly a future valedictorian," said Jezebelle, smirking at Rin teasingly. "You're not very good at this are you?" "Kristian is smarter than I am," said Rin defensively. "I can see that," said Jezebelle, ignoring Rin's sudden glare. "The answer is simple since even a five-year-old can see it. Basic knowledge and shit. For such a tight bunch of people at this school, it takes an outsider like me to see and understand everything." "Okay," said Rin slowly. "Since when did you notice then..." "I don't know," said Jezebelle, scowling. "I guess the first time I was standing outside for Spanish first period." "That day," said Rin, groaning. "I still remember how he showed off his homework

assignment in front of me even though he obviously cheated." "And the arm wrapping thing," added Jezebelle pleasantly. "What arm thing?" asked Rin in disbelief. "Shiratori basically sat up next to you and wrapped his arm on you like he fucking owned you," said Jezebelle, rolling her eyes at the memory. "Oh," said Rin, shrugging. "He does it so often I don't really pay attention anymore." "Exactly," said Jezebelle, indicating at her eyes. "I spy everything, darling, because I'm observant like that." Rin bit her bottom lip. "I overreacted earlier and we fought and..." Rin stopped and buried her head into her knees. "I don't want to fight with him anymore." At Rin's words, Jezebelle pulled her up harshly. "Take that back, Shortie." "Huh?" asked Rin, frowning. "Fighting is good," said Jezebelle fiercely with a dangerous glint in her eyes. Usually, Jezebelle was only like this when she watched a football match. "Fight to your heart's content, Rinny. You must never lose your individuality around a man or else he'll dump you like yesterday's garbage." Rin eyed Jezebelle warily. "Must you say it like that..." "Why must I say it any other way for you?" asked Jezebelle, annoyed. "Even when you're trying to help-" said Rin, pausing and shaking her head. Jezebelle gave her look, daring her to go on. "Never mind... I don't understand..." "Boys lose interest in easy girls," said Jezebelle, rolling her eyes. To Jezebelle, she did not understand why people like Rin did not understand the obvious. "Why do you think he even likes a nerd like you in the first place?" Rin dropped her eyes. "Obviously, you're giving him a hard time so it thrills him. Once you lose your will to fight back, you become boring as shit." "I am starting to remember his previous girlfriends," said Rin, groaning at the memories. "They were all very disgusting. I wanted to knock some sense into them. Why are they so dependent on him for everything? I can't stand it." "Disgusting is too weak for girls like that," said Jezebelle, snarling. "But of course, you probably want to be like that." "Never!" cried Rin, outraged. "Sure," said Jezebelle mercilessly, playing with her hair. "Stay strong, tiny twerp." Rin glared at Jezebelle. "You need to keep on fighting." "I was still wrong though," said Rin, sighing. "I need to apologize." "Make him apologize first," said Jezebelle automatically. "Then, you apologize later. Simple as that." "But you told me to fight!" "Do you lack common sense or something?" asked Jezebelle, annoyed at Rin. "You can't fight all the time! What kind of guy would stick with a girl like that? A loser, that's what and no one wants to date a loser." Rin continued to stare until Jezebelle flushed red and stood

up angrily. "I don't even know why I'm still in this relationship but it's not real so it doesn't matter! Stop looking at me like that!" Suddenly, Rin smiled, "Fi-Fi, you want me to buy you a teddy bear?" "What the fuck?" asked Jezebelle, giving Rin a suspicious look. "To thank you," said Rin sweetly. Pulling her hair, Jezebelle growled, "Why would I want a teddy bear then?" "Because the other day at my house-" "Forget it," said Jezebelle, shaking from top to bottom. "Jezebelle junior is special. I usually hate teddy bears so if you give me a teddy bear, I will fucking kill you!" "Then..." "Never ever feed me something you cook again," said Jezebelle coldly. "And I mean it! It was the shittiest thing a while!" Rin pouted. "Fine. Deal." "Now, I will go on and give you some pointers on how to deal with boyfriends," said Jezebelle, walking up and down with her arms wrapped in front of her chest. "And I'm only giving you advice because you're such a newbie at relationships that I want to pull my hair out so I don't want to hear any thank you's from you!" "You won't," said Rin, sticking out her tongue. Jezebelle sat back down next to Rin and said, "Good. You better not." ***************************************** "Sorry but Koreans are not allowed in this house." Both Jin and David stared blankly at the tall man in a business suit with a playful smile on his face. Right now, Jin was trying to figure out if the older man was serious or not. One, Jin did not know who he was and two, he did not want to be rude to someone he just met. Actually, Jin was rarely rude in general. Are we at the right place Jin? asked David in a concerned voice. I'm sure, said Jin, frowning. Jin tried to smile at the man who was lifting a brow at them. Hello sir. Does Kristian Shiratori live here? It depends, said the man with dark brown hair and light brown eyes. State your names please and I'll decide whether I should let you guys in or not. Even though his lips and eyes were playful, the man seemed dead serious in his statement. Jin could tell he had discipline from somewhere. There was also a chance he was sufficient with firearms, which Jin picked up from playing too much video games. I'm Jin Song, said Jin hurriedly, thinking of Jezebelle being taken to the country's capital. David Yoo Shin, said David, unsure. The man in the suit flashed a genuine smile. Jin Song... I know you. Jin nearly jumped at his words. Mister Handsome Geek who rejected a freshman during sophomore year because he couldn't go out with her thanks to a Halo tournament I believe?

How do you know that? asked Jin with wide-eyes. David Shin, said the man, closing his eyes and thinking. Then, he opened them and snapped his fingers. You are one grade above and during your sophomore year, you tried to run all over campus, giving out fliers to support the Korean soccer team along with your 'Korean Posse', but failed when your boss Yvette forced you to watch her play tennis instead. Am I right? This guy is totally working for the Secret Services, said David in awe. And who are you, Missy? asked the man, indicating at the quiet Wendy sitting on the steps. And would you like to come in to have a cup of coffee? Wendy gawked at the invitation. Wendy Wilshire sir! Interesting, said the man, elevating his eyes upward. If I recall correctly, Wendy Wilshire is a grade lower and she is usually dressed in mini-skirts and wears pretty make-up. Wendy Wilshire is also the same girl who likes to attend all the tennis and basketball matches and speaks in a sweet voice. Are you sure you're her? That's the fake Wendy sir, said Wendy through gritted teeth. I see, said the amused man. He opened the door wider. All of you pass the inspection. Please come in to my beautiful house. You're Kristian's father? asked David, unable to hold back the surprise. The one and only, I hope. David gawked still. You look nothing like him. Shaking David slightly, Jin said quietly, David, please. "It's okay, said Kristian's father, flicking his hand carelessly. I get that a lot. The brat looks more like his uncle anyways, which is a shame because he'll never be as handsome as me. No, they're exactly the same, said Wendy, amused. Oh man! Just a head's up, said Kristian's father, stopping suddenly and glancing over his shoulder. Kristian's not home. I believe he's at his girlfriends' house. Which one? I don't know. He didn't tell me. You better check both. Kristian doesn't have more than one, said Jin, blinking. That's not what I heard, said Kristian's father, smirking. Though, I have to say, the second one sounds a lot meaner than his usual. This is a weird change since he tends to have this thing for innocent, sweet girls. A certain friend of mine would have been in trouble if she knew my brat but then again- I hate to interrupt sir, said Jin, shaking from top to bottom at the news. This second girlfriend... do you happen to remember what she sounds like or her manner of speaking? Let me bring up that memory for a second, said Kristian's father, closing his eyes. He's good, said David, whispering to Jin. I wish I have an insane memory like that. It would save me study time at home... Kristian is like that too, said Jin, frowning. He can remember things from what back while I can't even remember what I spend last evening doing.

Oh yes, said Kristian's father at least, nodding. She sounds... rude. Yeah. That's the word. She sounds a bit condescending and princess-like. She curses like Kristian's mommy too. Fuck you! I heard that! Kristian's father tossed a glance at the door to the kitchen. I love you honey! Kristian's father returned his attention to Jin and the other two. There she goes again. Ignore her. What else can I say about that second girl... she seems to be hot-tempered and in a bad mood and... There's no doubt about it, said Jin, looking at the ground. It's Fi. Fi? asked Kristian's father, curious. My girlfriend, sir. High school drama, said Kristian's father, grinning now. It never ceases to amaze me how messed up things can turn out. Kristian's father went up to Jin and placed his hand on his shoulder. I'm sorry young man but after high school, girls don't dig boys with only looks anymore. They want boys with money and social skills. If you want to keep your girlfriend, you have to watch out for boys like my son. I wonder what Shiratori will say if he knows his father is insulting him, said Wendy, surprised. No, Missy, said Kristian's father, removing his hand off Jin. It's a compliment. Sir, please, said Jin, worried now. Do you know where Kristian is? I would never reveal my son's hiding place. Right on time, the door opened and everyone turned to find Kristian walking in with a disgruntled look on his face. However, Kristian didn't go very far when he noticed four pairs of eyes gazing at him from the hallway. Kristian laughed it off and tried to run away but much to his amazement, his father was a lot faster and tackled him to the ground. Wendy, David, and Jin went up to Kristian who was now pinned to the ground by his father like a criminal to a police officer. Your friends are here to see you and it's rude to run away, said Kristian's father, smirking. He indicated at Jin. I believe you stole your friend's girlfriend here. Maybe it is about time you say something. Dad, that's not what happened, said Kristian, groaning. Kristian, said Jin, crouching down in front of Kristian. Where is Fi? She's perfectly safe at Bo's house, said Kristian quickly. Now please get the fuck off me old man! You're cramping my style! Thank goodness, said Jin, sighing in relief. Both David and Wendy nodded at him. While you're there, said Kristian, standing up after his father got off him. Why don't you reconcile with Rin-chan as well? She obviously loves you so you should do some of your Jin magic to make her happy while you're at it. What are you talking about Kristian? asked Jin, laughing now. He was too relieved not to laugh nervously. Rin-chan is my best friend. She has no romantic feelings for me

whatsoever. That's a lie, said Kristian stubbornly. Sensing that this was going to be a deep conversation, Kristian's father pushed the other two out of the room and into the kitchen. Jin and Kristian sat down on different couches in the living room. Still grumpy, Kristian tried hard not to look at Jin, but Jin calmly smiled at Kristian. I don't know where you get the idea from but, said Jin, shaking his head. There are no romantic feelings between Rin-chan and I. We have known each other for too long, far too long to think about those things. In truth, I don't even know what we'll do if we get together since we have seen each other grow up. All she does is think about you anyways, said Kristian, keeping his eyes to the ground. You're the only person she sees. That's not true, said Jin, frowning. She always looks out for me because I am a slacker. You see... Jin paused and smiled to himself. Back in elementary school, I began my obsession over video games. In order to keep my grades up, Rin-chan always looked out for me. She made sure I do my homework and study for tests. Rin-chan was like my caretaker. Even now, in high school, she forces me to work when I am distracted. That's why she thinks of me a lot... it's been like that since fourth grade. There's nothing going on between you and Rin-chan? Jin shook his head firmly. None whatsoever. I can safely say I have no romantic feelings for her and yet, Jin sighed. I wouldn't be happy if she's taken from me as well. I'll be very bothered losing my best friend... Then you should- ...until now. Excuse me? asked Kristian, making sure he heard correctly. Jin? I really trust you Kristian, said Jin in a calm voice. I believe you can do it, Kristian and I believe leaving Rin-chan to you is the best possible outcome. Maybe she hasn't realized this but Rin-chan has liked you for ages. She always talks about you even back during freshman year. It is about time you guys got together. I want both of you to make it work and I'll do whatever I can to make sure it works out for both of you too... from the sidelines of course since I'm in the Populars now. How do you do it Jin? asked Kristian quietly. Do what? asked Jin, confused. How can you say that you want to help me after I tried to destroy your friendship with Rin-chan? asked Kristian, closing his eyes. I want you and Rin-chan to separate for good and yet, you want to help us. Why do you do shit like that? I don't know, said Jin honestly. All I know is that I have someone I need to pay more attention to than Rin-chan right now. You are someone who will pay attention and comfort her when necessary. We both have our own ways to go. Yet, I can't let go of the fact that Rin-chan indeed is my best friend, back then, now, and always will be. If we're truly best friends, surely we'll be back together one day no matter what interference you or anyone throws at us. Don't you think so Kristian?

It's the same with Cory and I, said Kristian in a low voice. All right, Jin. Thanks for telling me this. I realize that I still have much to learn... even from a geek. Same, said Jin with a nod. "Except not the geek part." You're not mad about the Jezebelle Tilly kidnapping thing do you? asked Kristian as the two stood up at the same time. Jin shrugged. No, not really. It's funny actually. Looking back on it now, it really is. If you and Rin-chan haven't known each other this long, said Kristian suddenly, lost in thought. Do you think you guys would have made a good couple? Who knows, said Jin, walking alongside Kristian. All I know is that right now, Rin-chan is not my girlfriend. Fi is and that is my answer. ************************************************* Standing up, Jezebelle glanced at the window, noticing how dark it was outside. Thanks to the darkness though, she noticed bright lights coming up to the driveway. This was like a signal to Jezebelle that after all this time that Jin had finally found her. Jezebelle gave Rin final look before she said she had to go with a smirk on her lips. Gazing after Jezebelle, Rin watched as she wore her shoes and left the house without another word. "Hamada-sama," said Bo, peeking in from the side of the wall. Rin shifted her attention to him. "Are you fine now? May I come in?" "One, there's no door," said Rin in a quiet voice. "Two, that's Rin-chan to you." "Rin-chan," said Bo, correcting himself again. "How are you now?" "Better," said Rin weakly. "I got you a drink," said Bo, holding up a can of orange soda. "Thanks," said Rin softly, accepting the drink and hugging her legs. Bo sat down next to her with a genuine grin on his face. Rin took a timid sip of her soda quickly. "So..." "You always do that, Hamada-sama," said Bo, widening his grin. "You always act shy at odd times." "That's because I am thinking..." "Of?" "I don't know what to say to him," said Rin with a worried look on her face. "Should I outright apologize? Fi-Fi told me not to but I feel horrible about the whole thing. It wasn't even something worth fighting about. I want to say something to him but what?" "Say what is on your mind," said Bo, rubbing his chin. "That's the Hamada way of talking." "But..." "Listen to me," said Bo, rubbing her on the head affectionately. Rin was the right height for his hand anyways. "Even if it's blunt, you should do it Hamada-sama because that is who you are and that is probably the side of you that we know and like so you shouldn't change yourself." "I know," said Rin, sighing heavily. "Bo, I don't know what I will do without you and Jin. Tomorrow is going to be one long and hard school day. I will have to find a new group and a

new place to eat my lunch during nutrition and..." Rin paused and shook her head. "But it's better this way. I have no one to blame but myself." "All of this happen thanks to a single event," said Bo calmly. He turned his head at Rin and gazed at her without blinking. "Now, I wonder what would happen if I am able to comfort girls without them slapping me." Rin frowned and dropped her eyes. Bo continued to grin as usual, as if this was an easy topic to talk about."I wonder what would happen if it were me who came to you that day when you fought with Jin. Would things turn out like this?" "Probably not," said Rin, sipping her soda timidly. She tried hard to smile. "But I am starting to believe now that whether or not Kristian came to see me or not, things happen for a reason. I have no doubt that even if you are there for me at the time, I would still be with Kristian because I can't imagine it any other way." "Rin-chan," said Bo slowly. "You want to be with Kristian that much?" Rin's grip on the can tightened. "Yes." "You heard that Kristian?" asked Bo, standing up and grinning over his shoulder. Rin's face reddened dramatically at the sight of Kristian standing next to Vance. "Sorry Rin-chan but Vance and I sort of set you up." "All I did was open the door and let him in," said Vance in a monotone. "Kristian..." said Rin, hiding her face behind the can. Kristian didn't say anything. He simply went over and pulled her up. His expression was unreadable. Dragging her across the room, Kristian stopped at the front door and waved behind him without looking back. Rin wore her shoes hastily at the door. Vance didn't wave back but he followed Kristian and Rin out of the house with his shoes already on. Before Rin left the house after Kristian, she forced herself to a stop and looked over at Bo. "Bo," said Rin in a frightened voice. Bo gave her a curious look. "We're still friends right?" Rin would never forget what Bo said as she left his house: "Define 'friends'." ************************************* "My love!" Smiling brightly, Jin was ready for Jezebelle to hug him when she passed by him and hugged her teddy bear that was sitting in the back seat of David's car. Jin dropped his head but he should have expected as much. Then, David and Wendy went up to her and started asking if she were okay. Jin waited until they were done before he said something but she completely ignored him and sat in the back with her teddy bear on her lap. "She's still mad at you for not picking her up," said David in a whisper to Jin. "I knew it," said Jin with a sigh. "Chicken egg," screamed Jezebelle from inside the car. Jin jumped and knew immediately she was talking to him. "Hurry up and get your ass in here! I need a hot bath ASAP! Then, I have a game I need to watch and support for! I haven't eaten anything either so make me something once we get home!" "Okay, Fi," said Jin happily, joining her in the back seat. "He's happy," said David in disbelief. "What the fuck?"

"Oh man," said Wendy, cracking up and holding onto her stomach. "Jin Song is the same as always! He is probably the only guy who can stand my leader. They make such a wonderful couple." "Yvette is nothing compared to Jezebelle," said David absentmindedly. "What did you say?" asked Wendy, lost. "Thanks to Jin," said David, giving Wendy a firm look. "I need to rethink my decision." "Come again?" "You!" cried Jezebelle, glaring at David from inside. "Drive already!" Jezebelle gave Wendy a sweet look. "Wendy, come here. Let's go home now." "All right Leader!" said Wendy, running over to the passenger seat like a happy puppy. David lifted a brow at this. "The difference is that they actually like her... maybe it's not so hopeless for Yvette after all..." ************************************* "Bo." Glancing over his shoulder, Bo grinned at his sister Eun. "Yo." "She has a boyfriend now," said Eun with a frown. "And she's Japanese. Our parents will never approve of a Japanese girlfriend and you know that very well. I know you actually listen to Mom so you shouldn't make her sad. She depends on you. I depend on you. You can't let us down." "I know," said Bo, nodding. "I know that from the very beginning." "You should give up on her then," said Eun, patting her brother on the arm. "It's hopeless." "It's not hopeless," said Bo in a calm voice. "It's only hopeless if you have hope in the first place." "Oh Bo..." said Eun, hugging her brother from the side. "Why are you like this?" asked Bo, grinning and staring at the couch in the living room. "I am perfectly happy the way things are. I can't have those two break up and waste Jin's selfless act. Jin has done everything for them without them knowing... something that he beat me to. Now, it's my job to make sure they stay together." "You're always like this, Bo," said Eun, groaning. "Even if I can't closely watch over her," said Bo, enthusiastic. "I'll protect her from afar." ************************************* On the way home, Rin didn't say anything. Kristian didn't say anything either. Awkwardly, Rin kept glancing at Kristian the whole time but he kept his eyes on the road. She tried to read the expression on his face but it was harder than she imagined it to be. Like Rin assumed, if Kristian didn't want to be read, he made it impossible to. Somewhere inside, Rin thought Kristian would be happy to hear the news. It did not seem to be the case though. At the door, Kristian got out of the car and opened the door for Rin to get out. He failed to make eye contact with her. Rin was stunned and kept staring at him, trying to get a response out of him. Kristian was about to return to the other side of the car when Rin grabbed his arm.

"I'm not mad anymore," said Kristian in a quiet voice. "Me neither," said Rin quickly, worried. "Well," said Kristian, removing her hand. "Good night." "Okay..." said Rin almost sadly. "Maybe I shouldn't have said those stupid things..." Suddenly, Kristian turned to look at her. Rin nearly jumped at how fast he reacted. Now, Rin learned the hard lesson that she shouldn't blurt everything out loud. Shaking, Rin turned around and headed toward her house. This time, it was Kristian's turn to grab her arm to stop her. "Apparently, my dad thinks I'm two-timing," said Kristian in a low voice. Rin didn't say anything and kept her eyes to the ground. "Until I sort it out with him, I have no right to be with you. You're important to me so I don't want to hurt your reputation. I hope you understand." "I understand," said Rin weakly. "I can be very moody at times," said Kristian, pocketing his hands now. "I can also be very cold. I can't play Prince Charming around you like I did with my other previous girlfriends, Rin-chan. You might have to suffer thanks to my constant mood swings. I just want to warn you ahead of time." Rin tried to smile. "I'm okay with that." "I may hurt you accidentally. You're okay with that too?" "I'm strong remember?" asked Rin, holding onto his arm. "I'll be fine!" "You may regret this decision," said Kristian in a solemn tone. "You're only saying this because you care about me," said Rin insistently. "As long as I'm with you, I'll be fine. I'm sure of it. Why do I sound so whiny?" Rin covered her face with her hands. "This doesn't sound like me at all. I don't even know why I'm saying all this." "You should study and get some rest then," said Kristian, walking quickly away from her. "Good night, Rin-chan." "Good night..." Kristian smiled at her. "I'll pick you up tomorrow morning then." At those words, Rin beamed. "I'll see you then!" "I'll get that misunderstanding sorted out with my father by then." "Good luck! You're good at persuading people!" "I'll try," said Kristian, opening the door. He gave her one last look. "Good bye and sleep well." "You too," said Rin with a red face. Standing on the steps of her house, Rin watched as Kristian drove away. She thought about how hard it was for him to be called a cheater by his father, even if it wasn't said out loud. Clasping her hands together, Rin thought to herself that at least, no matter what he would do in the future to hurt her, he would never cheat on her. With that thought alone, Rin was able to get to her studies in the comfort of her room. Whether she actually studied

was a different matter altogether.

Author's Note
First of all, I'll like to say something that I learn from experience of studying relationships in TV shows, fiction, anime, and others. If I wanted a real love triangle, I could have easily went the Rin-Jin-Jezebelle route. Everyone should know the classic girl-next-door/close friend/childhood friend type versus the new girl/too hot to date/flirtatious type. From my experience, the first type of girl usually wins in the end for the main male lead. Before 1990s or so, the first type of girl has been winning 99% of the time. Only recently, the second type of girl ends up winning. Even though the first type of girl has a high chance of winning still, the second girl has been receiving more and more attention. She actually has some chance of winning now. If this weren't the case, I would not be cheering for Sheryl Nome from Macross Frontier so passionately. She has a real chance of winning! Anyways, the reason for my speech up there is that the Rin/Jin/Jezebelle route is too obvious. Rin will have a 70% chance of winning with Jezebelle with a measly 30% chance and if I go with Jezebelle instead of Rin, Koala will say I did it on purpose because I want to be different than normal etc etc. Thanks to all that, I destroy the possibility of a Rin/Jin end this chapter for the sake of not dragging the suspense on any longer. I'm really sorry to the three of you who support it but I never intended Rin/Jin in the first place. Besides with Rin's harem, she doesn't need the main character to be in it too... right? Anyways, I am excited for the next chapter. Are we starting a new arc or ending this one? You'll see.
