Industrial Hygiene Specialist

Arc Environmental is a professional engineering and consulting firm located in Baltimore, Maryland. We specialize in environmental and human health issues for real property. Arc Environmental is a small business providing services to both public and private organizations. We currently maintain multi-year contracts with federal, state and local public agencies, and our private clients range from national developers and insurance companies to local property managers and homeowners. The firm is seeking an IH Field Specialist for full-time employment. The candidate must:
Hold a BA/BS Degree in Environmental Science/Engineering, or related field;

(Preferred) Hold Certification as EPA Asbestos Building Inspector; Trained in NIOSH 582 Asbestos Airborne Fiber Analysis; Hold certification as EPA Lead Inspector, Visual Inspector, Completed OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPR Be willing to travel.

The candidate should have at least 2-5 years of IH technical experience with Asbestos and Mold inspection, and air sampling; general IAQ knowledge; be familiar with remediation techniques; have above average computer and writing skills; is PAT-round proficient (recommended).
