PressureHab Habitat Technician

Would you like to deliver safety to the Oil & Gas Industry? We are the leading provider of ATEX
& IECEx certified hot work habitats. We currently have opportunities to work as a PressureHab
certified Habitat Technician.

As a Habitat Technician you will be reporting directly into the Project Manager and working on
our Customer assets in the north sea or deployments worldwide.

Travel will be required to various sites, and globally, on an ad-hoc basis.

Your main responsibilities as a Habitat Technician will involve:

 Maintain a firm commitment to safety behaviors and protocols that lead to an incident and
injury free project site
 Ensure projects are delivered to meet safety, quality, and schedule objectives
 Conduct site surveys, and produce meaning full reports
 Schedule and facilitate toolbox talks on site
 Prepare and deliver project status reports, and keep management informed of project status
 Construct pressurized habitats on job sites
 Operate and troubleshoot habitat equipment

Your skills and qualifications as a Habitat Technician:

 Understand the Oil & Gas safety culture


 Proven track record in safe work practices in the Offshore Oil & Gas industry
 Good communication abilities within the project team, and towards customer representatives
 Understand and interpret work documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and
project schedule
 Experience of developing and maintaining excellent customer relations
 Demonstrated ability to make decisions with clarity in an environment of ambiguity &
uncertainty
 Full Passport, Offshore Medical Certificate, Basic Offshore Safety Induction and
Emergency Training (BOSIET)

Desirable skills:

 Ideally experience in the Oil & Gas service business


 Experience of IEC & ATEX standards and directives
 CompEx Qualifications
 Scaffolding skills

Location: International deployments out of Altens, Aberdeen, Scotland

Salary: Competitive - dependent on experience
