Due to the new estimates based upon the budget adopted by the House Sunday morning the city anticipates $6 million more in general fund revenue than the April 30 estimates by the Legislature’s Office of Fiscal Analysis which were used in the city budget. Tonight, Monday, June 3, the Board of Aldermen will move to reconsider the budget to recognize this revenue and lower the mill rate by 1.08 mills from the projected budget..
