Since 2007 how many complaints about Volkswagens has the Department received each year? 2. How many of these complaints are specifically related to a loss of power or sudden deceleration? 3. Can these be divided into the particular models? is Golfs, Passats, Polos, etc. 4. If it is possible to release the information about numbers of complaints across the board - in terms of all manufacturers - that would be great, then I could put the VW complaints in context.

The Department does not release these figures it would be misleading to use such figures as this would not take into account the nature of the correspondence, the substance or veracity of any claims if any or indeed whether they contain matters for the Department.
