Symbols of Spirit
Red = Energy, action, speed, heat, power, will. Close your eyes and breathe in the color red. Fill yourself with it, and notice how you feel. There is an angel that helps bring you greater energy and a stronger sense of your power. Feel this angel next to you now. The angel kingdom is a community that thrives upon the pursuit of service. There have been many books with a great deal of divergent information that have been written over the centuries about the angels. If you are drawn to learn more about these beautiful beings, I recommend that you find some books that appeal to you. For our purposes, we will take a brief look at the four major archangels. You will find a process to connect with the angels in the next chapter as well as in Section VI, Embrace. (For an in-depth background about these four archangels and their work see The Higher Teachers and Guides in Life With Spirit.) So, open the door to this heavenly realm, and find out just what a discovery this glorious kingdom can be. (Remember, as you work with your angels and guides in this course and at other times, there will be many opportunities for you to be blessed with their healing energy. But this is not a replacement for traditional medical diagnosis or treatment. Always consult your doctor when a physical condition arises.)
Uriel, With flame in outstretched The Fire of palm; with scales or a God balance, or with a sword. Raphael, With a young man or boy The Healer crossing a river; with a staff and fish; sometimes without wings (or incognito!).
Break Through
Invoke the presence of the Archangel Raphael, the angel of healing. Close your eyes and notice everything you feel as this beautiful angel approaches. Even if you dont feel anything, take a few minutes to let him fill you with his healing light. Allow this light to flood every part of your body that needs healing, any dark thoughts that need illumination. Do this for a few moments throughout your day.
