What we should do In order to come under the influence of the holy spirit, we must - read and meditate on Gods Word but it is not a matter of simply studying the Scriptures and meditating. we need to keep asking for Jehovahs help and guidance because by praying for holy spirit, we acknowledge our reliance on Jehovah. Proverbs 3:27.) Likewise, Jehovah finds pleasure in your asking him for his spirit, and he will give it to you.Prov. 15:8.
